I just refurbished my dad's 40 year old EPI mini tower speakers. I grew up listening to great music when I was a young child back in the late 70's. I have an older Harmon/Kardon amp that I will probably set up in one of our spare bedrooms to create my own personal listening "chamber".
I too love vintage speakers.

... i know that i got a heat shield that is rattling right below the drivers seat that is falling off what i thought is the secondary cats. gotta put a hose clamp on it to fix it but thats it.
anybody else know about this?
I just removed my heat shield(s) that had all but rusted off. I always noticed it while sitting in drive-thru lines at the local fast food joint. While down there, I noticed that my muffler is about to rust through. I think that I'll have the whole exhaust plumbing replaced from the cat back .. minus the resonator after reading about the throaty sound!

I've got big hands and find the PS controllers difficult to use...I have a 360...well 2 BC one got banned after modern warfare 2 released and Microsoft banned all modded boxes even tho I was playing purchased copies of mw2 I still got banned...I had flashed my drive to play pirated games as a trial basis and then buy games if I liked them...sucked when it happened but I escaped the previous 4 banwaves...
I basically play halo and cod so the 360 is where its at for me...live subscriptions are usually on sale at best buy around Xmas or u can get them off of ebay for cheap
My 360 got banned during that time period as well. I havn't even tried to get back online as I like playing free games (most before they are even released).

I detest Sony as a whole.
I have my 360 modded and I love it. I bought it used from a local company that uses a BGA reflow station to fix the RROD. Hacked dvd FW, red led whisper fan running @ 12v. Swapped a 250gb drive into the stock 20gb case.
I don't play online though, so I don't get certain dlc's. Worth it for free games though.
HA! Same here. Mine's a modded Elite w/ hacked dvd drive, two window design featuring clear fan tunnel with four blue led fans (even put a window on the HDD). My 12v switch is hidden behind one of the memory stick slots. Swapped all of the green led's with blue ones to boot! I assume that you went with a laptop HDD?

My wife and I took a cruise there (left from Miami). To this day, that was the clearest water I've witnessed (Jamaica, Fla. Keys, Curacao, and the Cayman Islands). You'll love it. Just remember us when you are snorkeling and we're freezing our rears off!

I certainly would NOT go with higher amperage fuses. The fuse is there to protect the wire from getting to hot and catching on fire. If you have to go with a larger fuse you will need to go with a larger gauge wire. Mrpheus has a great idea to re-check your wiring to see if the wires jacket has not been compromised.

This forum has already proven better than that Hayne's Automotive book I purchased at the local auto parts store! I am currently doing my homework on putting a modest 2" lift and upping the tire size for my Nippo. I think that I'm spending more time studying all of your pics more than anything!

Whoa, to revive a long dead thread ...
I replaced my fan amp (not the blower motor) and all seems to work fine. My 99.5 dose not have the cabin filters and the amp's heatsinks looked pretty clean. I promise to post later if I experience any problems with it.
