I like your guard 10x better than mine. I just noticed that the bar that your lights are mounted to is flat. Looks really good.

I have a new problem, which may not even be a problem, my crankshaft, that turns all the belts looks loose, like it needs 'balanced' or something. It doesnt wiggle bad, but enough to notice.. Is that a problem?
I'm totally lost..
Could be your harmonic balancer. I just had to replace mine (my Pathy and my Miata) because the darn things about split in two. It has rubber inside of it that will go bad over time with all of the engine heat and ozone. My buddy took a couple of pics when he changed it for me but I can't seem to find the one with the bad part. Anywho, here's the new one out of the box. If you look close you can see the rubber just inside of the rim.

I installed them on my R50 to reduce the wear and tear on the CV axels. I can not claim any fuel mileage gain as I installed them whith the lift. I can, however, claim that my mpg's did not change with the use of larger tires and raised suspension.

That's the first time that I've seen a factory brush guard with supports mounted to the bumper. I like it!
Have you used the D-links on the guard yet?

I bow to thee.

hows emissions in your county?
Ha! We don't have inspections in South Cakalacky. We can get away with murder while killing your atmosphere.

That's an R50 dip stick!

I've been told that mine are due. I will watch this thread for sure. $250 for OEM? Dang!

(Nunya has a short dip stick!!)

B.S.! The Pathy is WAY too clean. Plus, the magnetic sign would be WAY funnier (that is word, aint' it?).

Whoa! Have a safe trip when you go. That's a long long drive.

Nice looking rig. I really like your choice of roof rack too. Welcome to NPORA!

Dang. Makes me want to go out right now and inspect mine. I smell fuel every time I park the sucker. I can never locate the source though.

It might depend on where you wheel and what your obstacles consist of, but IMHO sliders have been the best choice I could have made (thanks Thunderbolt). I have only hit my cross member and gas tank skid a couple times, but I've nailed my sliders a good 50 times and they've saved my butt many times.
They are Rocky Road Outfitters Super Sliders (Glenn Wakefield was great to deal with). They measure right at 68" (but of course the small kickout/step is a bit shorter).
Thanks. You are the third person that recommended the sliders first. I will, once again, follow most of you guys formula to avoid any "shoulda', coulda', and woulda's" in my build. I never would have guessed 68" though. I'll look up Rocky Road Outfitters when the budget allows.

"slinging mud"
"slinging sand"
I think that I prefer mud ... that is unless I had some pretty gals frolicking around with beach balls all around me. Then again, gals frolicking around in the mud with bathing suits dosn't sound to shabby either!

Wow, you driving out all the way from Spartanburg?

Nice pics and a fantastic looking ride. How long are your rocksliders? I'm torn on what armour I should do first (skid plate vs. sliders)

Your lucky to have an honest mechanic. Some people would have tried to take advantage of something as simple as that (I probably would not have noticed that either).

I'd love to replace mine as they are long over due. However, I want to eliminate the resonator.

The struts have already cleared Australian customs and i'm now waiting for them to arrive. I did some review searches on the Rancho's and the only negative comments i found came from the rears... hence picking the bilsteins for the rears.
Awww great. I went with the Rancho rears.

You guys are a bunch of conniving fools. I like it!

... So I closed both hoods and went sit on my butt in my house.

Don't say a thing. They will have their mechanics look over it before offering you money for it. If you were selling it used through classifieds, that would be different.
Manual Hubs = Better gas mileage? Plz Explain : )
