I have a friend that is mechanically inclined and has all the tools to boot. He did my tb, wp, and all the other belts as a favor for me. All I had in it was the cost of the belts and pump. I ended up buying him some Polk tower speakers for his time. In the end, I think that we were both happy!

Change the water pump while you're there.

Yeah, My 99.5 LE dosn't have them. I had thought about knocking out the plastic inserts that are currently where the filters would go. At this point, though, I think that it would not make that big a difference as I like to drive with my windows down whenever I can. Plus, I'm too lazy!

... if I can find a seat that doesn't feel like I'm being raped.

Wonder if AC would sell only the front springs if you wanted to do the SFD and get the rear WJ coils for out back?
You can purchase them either as a full set of four or just the fronts or rears.

Goodyear Dura's mang! Rated great in the "snow belt" (although I live in the dirty south). They pull well in the red clay mud down here. They look aggressive. 'Nough said?

We need picture proof of those Texas pin stipes!

There's got to be a good story behind this! Looks like you tried to run over Superman or something?

Whoohoo!!! Shipping today. Went with OME928's for the front...they were in stock!
So far, great customer service as well. He called me this morning to confirm that everything was in stock and will be shipping today!
Looking forward to the pictures!

what type of shock and strut should i use? Rancho RS5000 or Rancho 9000Xl.
I'm sure that we all have personal prefferences. I'm running the RS5000's on my AC 2" lift.

No kidding .. nice job! Just curious but, what did he charge you?

i think i see a yellow TJM sticker on the bumper.
Good eye.

....and speaking of bearings...someone mentioned "cheap plastic". I did my struts on my 97 SE last summer. Put in replacement OEM bearings....but honestly the 13 year old "cheap plastic" original ones were functioning perfectly....no play or noticeable wear whatsoever. Only replaced them as I'd already bought the new parts.
Yeah, same here. Actually, both sides looked reusable. I too replaced them just because I paid $$ for them.

... Great shots of the Pathfinder, looks like yall have some cool terrain down in Chile.
I agree. The terrain is WAY different from what we have here in south eastern US.

I don't know? Looks like a lot of mods that would be worth $2k of my time to install.
-
Deal!
Do you have any pics of your pathy?
Sure do!

Is anyone here really that worried about fuel mileage? This isn't the National Prius Off Road Assoc. after all.
