Just graduated a couple of weeks ago and just got a call with my first interview from the job I wanted the most. Here's hoping!!

Okay back home to the island. Goals for next few days: Finish reinforcing idler arm, finish welding up a double shear idler arm brace. Figure out how to mount the rear tire carrier I just got, mount new front full bull bar front guard with light guards (think maybe from an r50). Also looking for new lift springs. Need more lift! to go 5.9 JGC or 3" lift cherokee springs. Anyone know how long the 3" lift cherokee springs are??? 20 inches would be ideal...

Refurbishing an old set of 15x8 alloy wheels for the pathy. Replacing the 15x10 steel wheels that are on now and weigh a TON! Will be cutting around 30 LBS PER WHEEL! Should be a noticeable increase in performance.
-
bout to go out into the 2 degree weather and do exhaust work and a bit of wiring and fluids to finish this vg33e swap!!
-
33x12.5 goodyear duratracs = best tires i have ever had, went through the toughest spots in the local mud put that a lot of trucks struggle with when its bad and my truck almost idled up the hill with open diffs.... amazing NEED LSD NOW!
-
Got my jeep grand cherokee springs today... they measure to 17" on the dot after pigtails were cut... yellow tags... should be a decent amount of lift.
-
1 inch cut in the sidewall of my brand new 33x12.5 duratrac. wow what a sweet and awesome day.... at least it can be repaired as a trail spare....i wonder if the tire shop is gunna make me buy a new one. probably!!!
-
installed front 5" round speakers and rear 5x7" mtx thunders in the rear headliner spots. sub and amp tomorrow.
-
Phew...tackled upper/lower ball joints and wheel bearings and seals on both sides... what a job. Another couple hours tomorrow and I'll be done!!
-
Sigh im glad my pathy is so bullet proof. just got my 300zx running properly and now its making noise in the timing cover. Time for a 120k service, *sigh* lol
-
Just mounted a rear tire carrier on my truck that didn't come with one. Took me all freakin day and a sore back but it's done. Made all custom bolt-in 1/4 inch plate brackets. Turned out AWESOME and it is so strong, no play at all with my 33x12.5 mounted on back. Yay for trunk space again.....
-
oh how I love exhaust work.... *sigh* at least it will sound good... OBX headers 2" outlets, to 2.5" after the y pipe, to a 2.5" high flow magnaflow cat, 2.5" flowmaster 40 to a side exit in front of driver side rear tire.

ordered my 2wd hardbody swap parts today for a grand total of 105$ after shipping for inner tie rods and center link. just need to hit the junkyard for
-
Found a shop to machine my 4wd tie rod adjusters... 35$ cash! New 2wd inner tie rods(40$) new 2wd center link(70$), machined adjusters(35$), junkyard adjusters(free), my outer tie rods are still new.. Total of 145$ for a custom 2wd steering setup.... I think so!!!
-
Steering almost sorted.... Next is to make some custom longer travel (2-3") control arms out of stock oems.... This should be fun. Going for 10" front wheel travel after I lower my diff.
-
240v welder plug should be wired in today... Installing 2WD steering setup and playing with new welder this weekend!! So stoked!!!
-
Picked up a mint 95 pathy steering box and front skid plate today at the wreckers for 50 bucks. Cleaned and painted black and ready to go on tomorrow.
-
Went to fit a front skid plate to my truck, it was missing... Now I see why... all 6 bolts broken off flush...useless 6 MM bolts holding it in... drilled them out to 8MM holes and re tapped. These shouldnt break!
-
So over this last couple of weeks I finished.... 2WD steering swap, steering box, upper and lower balljoints, wheel bearings. Alignment tomorrow....oooooo pathy is so tight feeling! Can't wait to feel after alignment...
-
finished rekeying my locks. finally one key for the whole rig and i can open my hatch glass now and unlock my truck if the battery dies again. lol.
