    im doing my whole passenger side fender. rear passenger quarter panel rust also drivers door and fender is starting to rust a bit. i will need more than a few ouncez.

    so looks like this color (sahara beige metallic CRO for pathfinder) is not available in spray can. but BMW has it too, maybe they might have it in a spray can under their code. any ideas? p.s. i can work with a quart but prefer can.

      Not in chicago I believe, you most of the cars are hashed anyway that you see driving about.

      Dunno was asking, gotta get safty inspections here AND emissions depending on which county your registered in.

    most likely.... but ive seen them online just primered. and i dont think they have r50s 99.5 and up. or can i use the prefacelift fender? also i want to learn how to do body work.

    sorry i had this thread forgotten. ok, so now the rust went through. its mostly on the passenger side fender, up front at the corner light. the other is down low at the running board. i know i need to cut off the rest of the rust but what type of metal i need to replace it with? im probably going to have to remove it and fix it inside my apartment.

    so i took mine in at 10am today and got it back at 4pm. its ok! they only replaced the gas tank filler tube. they also suggested to do a complete tune-up. which i will because i got to take it to get the emission test.

    mine leaks when i put over half a tank of gas. i don't know if it has to do with that though.

    hello guys, first question: is this a sticky? because i consider this as very helpful information. next, i just schedule my inspection for this friday. but after reading that they can hold your pathy if its deemed "unrepairable" or "unsafe to drive" got me all spooked up. mine is all rusted on passenger side fender and some inside the engine bay. also driver side bottom. Now i don't know if i should take it in. man im really scared! any suggestions?

    so now i called my nearest Nissan dealer and they told me about the struts and something about the gas cap or filler pipe. but nothing on steering column. i got my appointment friday at 10am. i hope i dont get charged with anything because im broke

    i just finished talking to a representative at Nissan North America. He told me he couldn't find my "particular vehicle" or my dads name(its under his name). So therefore he said there was nothing he could do because the VIN that i gave him was not coming up. he only told me maybe if i take it to a dealerships they could come up with something. it has some rust spots on passenger fender, and 2 days ago the steering got really stiff i could not turn. the good thing is that was only parking. what else can i do? P.S. two people told me different things about my truck at Nissan North America. one, it could not be found. the other, it was not pathfinder it was frontier. wth?

    yeah, i don't really pay attention to who i talk to on the phone. It was a girl, so yeah... since my first language is Spanish i talked to someone in Spanish. now im currently on hold. I'm trying in English this time.

    I called Nissan Of North America today about the recall but they told me it was not for Pathfinders it was for Frontiers? any comments?

    I'm missing the two front speaker amps. can i add some from another vehicle? i have looked on local junkyard but they only have wd21's. does 21's have those? or xterras, frontiers, maximas, altimas? thanks!

    can anyone do a photochop of the rims with regular tires on(not offroad tires)? or anyone has a pic with those rims but with regular tires on? i found some on CL. (2) have BF Goodrich Rugged Trail T/A 245/65/17 not much tread life on them. $50 (2) have Dakota Definity A/T 265/70/17 very good tread left on them.     chevy express cargo van rims are less expensive and more easy to find.

    to make it short, I've seen these rims on Chevy Tahoe police SUV's and wondered how they would look on a pathfinder. lug pattern seems the same from what I've searched. here are some pics now if these police rims are expensive we can also use Chevy Express Cargo Van rims and paint them black.
