Well... Title says it..Please help me out on this one guys. I was driving down the road normally with out hard acceleration, or anything and all of a sudden the trans. went to neutral. I was like ... So I pulled over and accelerated and nothing. put it in parking, shifted down to reverse and nothing, down to drive,2,1 and nothing the PF accelerates but doesn't move neither forward or back in any gear. Please help me figure this one out as it's my daily driver and I have nothing else to move on at the moment. I got under the PF to see if the shift linkage has gotten loose or something and nothing.. I told my girlfriend to shift it from "P" to all the other gears and everything seems to be working fine, The PF has never given any other signs of trans. problems. It has Trans. Fluid and it's clean/full. I haven't changed/bypassed the oil cooler, think that has to do something with it? prob. clogged up? Hope to hear/read form you guys soon.

I put 30 or lower cuz I dont understand tires that much.. mine are 275/60/15 So what are those supposed to be? I saw some nice tires at western auto and pepboys... now they cost $200usd each plus tax and mounting them on the rims.. What do you all think?

No Silverton, they are LHD as in the states. Everything here runs in/by the US government, as in money wise and stuff alike. Some laws too. Just that things shipped here get taxed like 3 times. But oh well...

lol, cool. thing is i want mine to work. as i have no power locks to let me/others trapped in.

So how do I get it to work? I found this little box under the driver's seat I followed the switches cable and that to where it led me. It also has an LED on it (but it doesnt turn on either) and this little button which you spin. Is there a fuse somewhere? thanks.

Well my ABS light came on. Funny too cuz while I was driving I did feel the brakes not working well.. I thought my booster was F'ed up cuz I hear that hissing noise when you press it and braking was down to almost the floor before I got home. Once Home I checked the Brake fluid reservoir and found it didnt have no fluid in it. So I put some in and then started the PF and now the light turned on. Funny it didnt turn on before while driving. So after I put the fluid in and turned it on I got pressure again on the pedal. So does that mean my booster isnt bad an I have a leak somewhere? I checked all my rims and they seemed dry(no oily residue) but then again it's been raining all day..

Look what I found today while changing the air filter BTW got some new lights..

ahh and check if it's the 1300 or the 1500 cvcc.. the CVCCs came with really nice factory upgrades.

Mine was a good buy, has never given me any problems mechanically since i've bought it and i've had it for more than 2 yrs driving it every day so... they are good. So if you want to buy that one down your street..

well, all of a sudden my PF is acting up. I turn it on sometimes and it like goes too low on RPMs.. like it wants to shut off but it wont. I accel. normally with out punching it and it like takes its time to go on. now if I punch it it will kick in like it normally used to. I went to fuel up and once i stopped it turned off by itself. Turned it on and everything fine until i made another complete stop and it shut off again. Then I pulled those codes: 14 and 33 Now I ask myself and you guys think those codes have to do something with it acting up? Thanks.

Me, well I'm fixing up my used to be daily driver.. bought it for $300 with it's hondamatic trans, already swapped it for a 5 speed trans off a second gen. and added some fiberglass bumpers It's a 1979 Honda Civic 1200 All that I need now are the rear shocks and finish restoring the body to paint it up, just dont know if I should leave it flat or put it shiny.. It's got better headlights now, fully black projectors, new pics later on...

I took the dash out before to polish the clear glass over the gauges, and saw the cable , but then why does the ecu throw the speed sensor code then? Mine is a 92 AUT.

So I did the test for the trans. the way amo1dun said, and so this is what happened: 1 solid flash (but it was a slow one compared to the others)paused then 2 flashes paused then 8 really quick flashes. what code is that? I also did the self diagnostic test with the ECU and got code 14 and code 33 anyone has a pic as to where the vehicle speed sensor is located? and what to do about the "heated oxygen sensor" and how many oxygen sensors does the PF have? as my dad's neon has 2 OX sensors Thanks guys...

It has to the left Alarm on, in the middle off and to the right Impact on.. what's that for? I put the switch to any of the sides and the red LED stays off, it doesnt turn on for anything.

I dont have a FSM for my PF. Mine's a 92 one.. where abouts do I get a hold on one of those FSMs? Thanks

Door chime? Mine doesnt sound with the door open, but it does go beep beep beep beep with the key on the "ON" position

I have an extra set of control in my PF trunk. Came with the PF

mm,ok so if I understand this correctly that's for the "AUTO" button on the A/C. No wonder my A/C wont shut down in power it always stays on full power.

yea , i ignore it too, hasnt given me any problems either. It's just that I've seen other cars with something the same (photocell) and well when it gets dark out the photocell engages/switches on and turns the headlights on automatically.

On my dash near the air vents there's this "sensor" , looks like a photocell... what's that for? and how does it work?

Exactly....from one quart of tank it uses up around 1/2 to 3/4 of that quart of tank. Tune up huh? new sparks, air filter, oil needs changing too so..what else? tranny fluid looks nice and clean, anything else other than those 3 things? Dunno about the gauge being off as I havent filled her all the way up to see with how much it'll fill up. But with the needle almost on the line of empty, and the fuel light not turning on, I put 10 dollars in it and it'll full up to right on top of the 1/4 tank line if not a little bit more. and 20 dollars will give me 1/2 a tank. Now I dont do granny driving either cuz I hate being in traffic.

Well... this is my quick question.. My farthest travel during the week is of 16.9 mi of distance. now.. traveling that far, the PF would drink up around 1/2-3/4 of a quart of tank. is that bad mileage or around normal to you guys? Thanks.
