  1. trying to find a picture of the engine. no clue if its like my 1990 3.0v6 or if it changed. if so you should be able to get to the plugs without taking anything off that has todo with the intake. take a picture and post it. are you talking about the plugs deep under the intake? ifso you can get to them with en extension just get the plugs that are gap less.
  2. it was suppose to be from an auto. read the number on the list. ecu is for an auto
  3. no. its only done that a few times. before it had it down for a few weeks it always kicked down a gear when i slammed the gas no problem. ill try it in power mode
  4. hey guys, recently got my hardbody running again after the ecu went out. and i noticed that the transmission shifts fine just doesn't kick down a gear when u gun it. how is it controlled on a 90 v6 auto 4x4 hardbody? i mean on my 90 formula its a tv cable. thanks!
  5. no i used brake cleaner. got it running. after an hour of getting it running better can drive it fine @!*%! thanks for your help man!
  6. ecu is in. however its just doing the same turning over. but this ecu is responsive. im going down to get some brake clean suspecting i might have gas in my water. first turn over it almost started when i plugged in the ecu. so there is progress!

  10. ive had todo this twice on my rig. first time took so long because i never done it on here before but its such a pain the ass. i miss when i hada do it on my 96 cherokee. took me a few mins.

  15. i posted it in my introduction my question but i figured id put it in here in hopes of finding out faster so on my days off i can find what i need. my mecm-v140 recently got wet ( underwater) it turns over perfectly but no spark. the coil isnt getting spark ether and i figured since the computer was under water its toast. ( i cant find that number ecm anywhere!!!!) my question is if i find a pathy with 3.0 A/T like mine would the computer work fine? and does it matter if the pathy was 2wd and mines 4x4? thanks guys. i have a 90 HB 3.0L A/T and 4x4
