  1.

Hopefully I have another full day off next week... won't know till I get my schedule tomorrow... god I hate working retail sometimes...

I work retail too, thankfully we get our schedules 1-2 weeks in advance. So right now, I know what my schedule is up to april 10th, it's pretty nice for being able to plan stuff

  2. I think it's a standard 2-3 gallons are left in the tank when the light comes on in most vehicles. But really, I wouldn't put 100% faith into the light, as it comes on/off depending on where the the fuel gauge needle is. so.... if your needle is inaccurate, the light is useless. They call it a dummy light for a reason.

  3. Steering Rack bushing if I recall. and it should be clamped down like on the other side.

Oh, learn to use macro mode on your camera, lets you take up close pictures of stuff without fuzzy/unfocused results. It's usually a flower icon on most point and shoot's.

  4. I just thought of something. GG usually wraps up pretty early, like between Noon and 2:00 depending on the weather. I'll plan to get there about 9:00am. If anybody wants too we could go grab some food and hang out somewhere in the area after the show. Zesto's isn't far and is a kickarse burger place... and last I recall the parking lot entry ramps were still pretty 'ricer-proof'. I know none of my 510s ever got into that place!

Redmill should also be around there. I'll probably be rolling in around 10, hopefully. It'll be fun to play in that parking lot without reverse...

  5. I can't say for sure on these trucks. But Mazda put their BP engine in both the Miata (rwd) and protege (fwd) and really the only difference was coolant bypass pipe routing.

  6. So you got the vacuum routing figured out? I'll take more pictures if needed tomorrow, since it's dark here now.

But yes, the A/C is still in the truck, and it blows nipply cold. It can be seen in the 1st and 2nd pics.

  7. Perhaps I didn't search enough, or maybe this will be a good thread to start.

But what exactly are the differences between them? I think I read that they have a bigger bore, and not a longer stroke? So to do the swap one would need the whole block...

If it's just a longer stroke, should be able to take the crank out of one, and just put it in the vg30e block and call it good. I've done this with my old toyota supras engine, crank/rods out of the 7m and pistons/head of the stock 5m increases displacement from 2.8 to 3.0...

Or is it easiest to just get a VG33e shortblock, and put the vg30e heads on it while keeping the stock ecu/wiring harness.

Showing how it's routed to the vacuum switch, which appeared to be bolted to the valve cover:

And the two bigger "vent" hoses. The one that crosses in front of the engine definitely goes into the passenger side valve cover, the other one disappears under the intake manifold and I lost track of it, but I would assume it does the same thing:

  9. It's off 136th S by Sunset park on the Burien/Seatac border near Des Moines Mem Dr. Where the BMX track and tennis courts are, there is a dead end road. Got my first trail related damage today, got too close to a tree, haha!

Don't mean to go OT, but here are some pics recently that I took:

some ruts I made that my friends toyota pickup got stuck in, baha

  10. clariton isn't an instant fix-it like other allergy medications. you have to take it once a day, and around the same time each day is best, and it takes a few days for it to take affect. I've had good luck with zyrtec though, my nose is starting to get itchy at work so I need to buy some, damn flowers.
