Well right now I have 31x10.5 Mud Terrains and they are about 1" away from my struts; I just went out and got 33x13.5 after putting in my SFD and when I test fitted them they were a good 1/2"-1" under my strut so if I bottomed out the strut would hit the tire. So how much of a spacer would I need and do I have to do some more trimming to get these puppies to turn? And with the 31's on the rear I can stuff them all the way into the wheel well no problem, I don't think I can with the 33s because they are to wide.... Plus if I put spacers on the front I am going to do the rear also to keep the simitry even; so that is going to push them out more........ What to do????

I have some of the same questions, I have heard both good and bad things about wheel spacers, along with both types ie: the bolt on and then the slip over your studs kind. Which kind is more benificial and would last longer? I have a set of 13.5" wide TSL Super Swampers and they wont fint unless I have a 1.25" spacer so they clear my strut... Any ideas?
-
How hard was it to replace them, what does it involve and how long did it take?
-
Where did you go to get your longer lugs and spacers? Install time? How did you install them? Only on the front and not the rear?
-
Just put the steering linkage together last night and bleed the brakes as much as I could before the bleeder valve broke off on the driver side rear wheel cylinder..... damn. Either way it runs and drives and I am going to put a new wheel cylinder in it today and go test the lift this weekend; if all is good it is getting welded in! I will post pics as soon as I have more.

It is what I am talking about... And thanks Bowtied, I will probably end up making the bracket to extend it but need to try and keep the stock spring rate with this spring.... or I will just take it off completely....
-
Yea it is lower about a inch or so.... I am just going to order some rubber spacers/leveling kit.
-
You used the springs that I amd Tyler have right? Was your front a inch or so higher than the rear? I think I need to get 1" rubber coil spacer.....
-
I trimed the mudflap off and sanded it downto make it look stock and hit it with some paint which is coming off but I dont care....
-
Well it is a 99.5 Pathy.... lol; no problem I love them and the rock guards make them look even better!
-
The spring in the rear that goes from your body to a lever on the rear diff which is the proportion valve to change the braking ration from more to less in the rear when towing. Mine isn't long enough, so I need to get a longer one.... I custom ordered my springs from Coilsprings.com there is a thread in here on them....
-
Hey I love my tail lights, they look good to me; even with the rock guards on them
-
Yup, the front is actually about 1.5" higher than the rear.... I am thinking of either putting in rear coil spacers to make up the difference or let it be and when I get a bumper put on it will weight it down.

I have 33x13.5 TSL Super Swampers for it; I still want to be able to get some good flex, I think the next set of tires will be 34's....

Ok so the whole lift kit is installed, now I just need to finish off some loose ends and the truck is back on the raod.... I am doing a brake job and need to bleed the brakes after replacing the lines, the steering linkage needs to be fabbed up and I will probably end up rotating the rack in order to get the angle not so extreme. I have Mile Marker manual hubs coming in at the end of the month, I need to build a bracket to relocate the power steering bracket off the subframe because the drop was to much for the original bracket. I had to use F350 Super Duty Rancho RS5000 which needed new bushings pressed in on one side but I got them to fit. The only problem I am having is with that big spring on the back of the rear diff is not long enough and I am trying to figure out where I can get a extended one.... Oh and I need to put my skid plate on after I paint it and do the rest of the fab work
-
No takers huh?

UPDATE* 2000 Ford F350 Shocks will work but you have to replace one of the bushings in order to get them to work because they have a metal sleeve that will not slide over our bolt... I burned mine out with a torch and hit it out with a hammer then let it cool off and a quick clean and hit with WD40 and the new bushing slid in.... Also I went with Ranch RS5000's
-
As long as it works its good, DOT.... there are alot of rigs out there who are not up to DOT standards.....
-
It does have to be welded, I would send you a new u-joint and a piece of metal to extend the old steering linklage; it would need to be cut to length and have a local mechanic shop weld it for $20.
-
I am going off of this post, it says he is using "99-04 350 2wd shocks"... that being said is it F350 or chevy shocks?
-
I just ordered some Rancho RS5000 Shocks for a 2000 F350.... Will these fit or are they to long?

I know where to get all the parts for this kit as I just put one together for myself; the problem I am running into is getting the funding to get the kit together to sell to someone else; and I do not have that ammount of cash to get it together and then sell it.... If you are really interested in a kit it will cost around $1,187+- a few bucks because I do not know exactly what the shipping would be for a whole kit like this as I had everything shipped to me idividually... I took a educated guess though and it might turn out that I can give you some money back.... Either way I can get ahold of the pieces needed to build this kit just do not have the funds to put another one together and then sell as I just got mine together and spent some good money on it... So if you want you could send me the money through paypal or a money order through the mail and I could start ordering all the parts and when I get them in send the whole package to you..... It should take about a month to get everything in and then mailed out to you; let me know

I will look into the steering linkage situation, and will update as soon as I find out.

I feel like its christmas, I can't wait to get this put together and go out and wheel it. I will post pics as soon as its together, and I can't wait for the skid plate!
