and if there is no belt it popped right lol. ok i think i can manage it. also is there even a point if my engine is not truning over at all. i was told you would still hear the bottom pully turning if it was just the belt? we dont hear anything. ben

so engine replacement is a good idea. i like the trucks suspension and what not and if i buy a new truck i can have this one to learn on and work on her. beef it up and make me a good work horse for wheeling. now to find an engine. ben

ok so i got scammed big time. long story short they tried to pick up my truck without me ever getting the money. they said they had already gotten it. i did get two people arested though lol. bastards. any way i had my neighbor look at her. and since my engine was not turning over at all when we were trying to get it too. no sounds at all from the engine bay area. we are confident its a thrown rod. apparently i am loosing more oil than i thought and it was empty or something any way i am not sure. i need to know how hard it is to fix the problem. and a cost analysis. take a guess. ok thanks sorry bout the mistype it was supposed to say bigger. so idealy and the cheap way i could pull an exhaust off of a truck i like the sound of and mount her up.

would just adding an exhaust tip change the sound of the exhaust? i want something more agressive. i was thinking about adding a bigger opening to the tip?

for the chevy shocks are they just a bolt in replacement or is there some other things i need to change as well? what about the coils? do i need to change them or are stock ones fine. and then how about getting more outa the front?

what kinda work am i looking at for an install on a lock-right?

ok for an LSD how much help will it add. & what would welding the spider gears do to my ride? i am not too convered with it. going round corners. driving in 2wd. snow driving. raing. puddles. mud. and does any one have pics of a welded spider so i can see what i am welding to gether exactly. and where.

well i am going to stick with my coils i have now. what should i look at for getting longer shocks. i would love to get the kind of flex 88 is showing. money is a huge issue have very little of it. i may look to pulling from a newly trashed truck. in a junk yard some where. any help is welcome thanks guys.

i want some freaking lockers on my pathy. i am trying to find a factory issured one that i might be able to pull off of a junked out truck some where. any one know what vehicles i would be looking for? or axle types?

holy @!*% dude thats a long freaking flex. what should i be looking at for longer shocks? what all would i need to look at to upgrade to longer ones?

would i get more or less flex outa leaves rather the coils i got now?

so as to the first original reason to the post. that clunking noise was my flippen exhaust pipe. when the motor would twist slightly from appliing power to gears it would twsit the pipes with it. so they were banging into the frame. all i need are some clamps. pretty gay if you ask me. but all is good now that i know what it was.

requesting the weekend off for the 8 and 9. am starting the tear down on sat morning as early as i can. hope to have it all done by sunday night. in time for school monday. am i setting a tight goal or not really? i shold have some help if he is available. if not its me and my manual. lol. well then theres slick i can call. wish mne luck guys.
