  1. stickers look great just need to swap the n and the A
  2. Car got warm with the aircon on this arvo, spent an hour at the car wash and got most of the crud off, but the condenser and the radiator are blocked up. Will pull them out tomorow and give em a good clean. It was due for a coolant change anyway.
  3. Well then, how can I waist 10 posts?
  4. i still have a while till i can put in for totm.
  5. How embarasing, im the only one with decent tyres, and im the only one that got stuck. Just so everybody knows, it was way deeper than it looked, It would of been at least 5 foot deep, and i was last, so it was all chewed up already, and.... and... and... maybe it was even 6 feet deep by the time i went through it. OH yeah, i only had it in 2 wheel drive too. Didnt wash the car last night, and now the mud has set like concrete, im gonna have so much fun getting it off. the doors are covered in about 5mm of the crap. checked my condenser, and it is blocked with mud, will put a pic up when i get home from work. better clean that out before summer hits. and i found a few sticks and stuff stuck underneath, hopefully no damage done. I HATE MUD!!!!!!!!!
  6. Had a great Arvo drive today, thanks guys. Clearly I got bogged deliberately so we could all practice recoverys. We passed I reckon. Your truck looks sick Dave
  7. I had to remove the bottom half of my radiator shroud, it just slips off. also had to undo the sides that bolt to the gaurds, on the plastic trim under the bumper
  8. I reckon it definately would. You would need to put some flares on your flares, with some flare extentions. Whats with his sunglasses?
  9. I reckon Matt should be taking his truck, so he can get a winning TOTM pic, while he is WA. Before we kick him out.
  10. yep, got it downloaded and the site worked straight away, but it works normaly now anyway.
  11. Yay, finaly i can get back on here. Matt, i sent my altenator in to a repairer thru work to see if they can upgrade it to put out more amps, if it turns up today or tomorow, i will swap the one out of my car, and put the upgraded one in, and u can have the un upgraded one. no, i wont just give you the one thats in the car now! not till i get the other one back lol. i reckon i will get up there sat arvo, but i have to drop my kid of at 3, so it wont be till about 4 should be fun.
  12. thats great Dave, cause i might need to replace one of mine, after Matt discovered the boot was torn. where did u get yours from?
  13. heres a pic with the body lift, not huge, but i didnt want to get carried away, and bring attention onto myself from the coppers.
  14. Good on you guys, we just get a good gang together, with capable terrano's, and then you all decide to move!!!!!!! How are we supposed to get together and show some of the big boys up?
  15. I think Matt is some kind of machine, or an alien of some kind, the amount of work he seems to get done is amazing. we done the lift on the weekend, so no, it wasnt in when i went camping, so i will have to get a new pic when i get a chance. even though it was only 30mm, it has made a big difference, makes the 31's look too small, and i have to step up a little to get in the seat. i remember when i first got the terry, i remember how it felt low to get into, almost like a car. if the weathers good tomorow arvo, i will get a new pic. Dave, are u gonna go for the 30mm, or 50 mm? would look huge with the 50mm. im thinking of taking off the front nudge bar, just have to work out another way to mount my spottys. it would give me a bit more clearance under the front, and lift the bumpers, and lift the towbar up as well.
  16. I have the same problem with mine, spoke to a few mechanics at work, they all ay the same thing: clutches in the lsd - replace fluid, if there not too worn, they will come good. backlash in the diff- take it to a diff place to get the backlash adjusted uni joints - sometime u can feel some play in the tailshaft, but not always. when in doubt, take them out and replace them. i changed my diff oil, no change, so the next thing is to replace the uni's. its the cheaper option, and id rather spend $50 bucks to get new uni's, than take it in to a diff place, which would cost a heap more. will post her when i have done it, and let u know if it fixed the problem.
  17. Things are good here Cyril, I spent the day at Matts, watching him demonstrate his expertise at body lifts, I only went for 30mm, didnt seem like much, until on the way home i pulled up next to a standard looking patrol, and realised i was sitting higher than the driver of the patrol. Thanks again Matt, would have spent 3 days trying to do it mysel, and most likely i would have given up half way through. cant wait to see your wheels on the road, and on the dirt, its then that you will know all that hard work was worth it.
  18. Matt, im aiming to get to your place about 930- 10am, if thats cool with you? I will bring the mower with me. I got the bolts, nus and washers, so hopefully all is sweet.
  19. Hi everybody, Ive been on NPORA for a little while now, hiding in the section for Aussies, thought i better introduce myself to everybody else. Im Dan, from Perth in Western Australia. My ride is a 1992 Terrano r3m 2.7 turbo diesel 5 speed 2 inch lift with rancho shocks. recently added 31x10.5x15 inch maxxis bighorns. 94 litre fuel tank from a nissan gq patrol. bolts straight into the origanal mounts. 90 Amp patrol altenator, bolts and plugs straight in other than that, the old girl is pretty standard, and goes where i need her to without any fuss. hers a couple of pics. nothing outrages here.
  20. Im pretty sure its bolted to the chassis underneath.
  21. Well if your going up sat Dave, i might save myself a trip down to your place, and take the pads to Matt's. we should have mine ready to throw in the blocks as soon as you get there, and will probably have the lawn mown by then too. might even have time to throw in your blocks as well, while you are fidling round with the cooler. will i need to take of my nudge bar, or should it be ok?
  22. I will bring my mower with me. what interior needs to come out? i will start on it tomorow, save a bit of time. what times too early for you Matt?
  23. Matt, what are you up to saturday? if i get all the bolts, and the blocks off Dave tomorow, feel like doing another lift? You are the expert after all. how long do you reckon it would take? you have done a couple now, you must be able to do it blindfolded, with one arm tied behind your back, the other holding a beer, in about half an hour.
  24. Dave, do you have those 30mm blocks at your place? im taking the trailer back tomorow arvo, and can extend my travels to your place to drop off the brake pads if you still want them. then what else will i need for the lift? same bolts as are on the car, plus 30mm? are thy all the same length? what kinda washers and nuts? anything else i need? Matt, i have a bit of camping type stuff, but no tent. let me know what you need and i will see if i can help you out. i have a 3 burner stove and stand, an empty gas bottle, 2 twin single blow up air beds, a kitchen type fold out bench, rechargable air pump for the beds (which takes about 20 seconds each bed). and a few bits and peices, let me know.
