  1. feels sad that my daily is a jeep...

  2. a canister lookin thing beside your battery.
  3. thanks for the advice guys, I had already changed out the filter and checked everything else I could think of. The shop changed out my pump and fuel sending unit, Cost me an arm and a leg but didn't have much choice. Now it's running like new again, drove for 8 hours on Saturday to get back home.
  4. So the beast had a rough drive, kept stalling out, but I was in the middle of nowhere and kept limpin' her along till finally, she just wouldn't start.. So Then after a long walk in the snow I made it to a garage, after getting her towed to there and them looking and me guessing, general idea was fuel pump. Now what a lovely Friday when all I was doing was going to pick up my last pay cheque after getting laid off. The fuel pump comes in but they didn't have time to get it in, so either rent a room or take a taxi home..$100 taxi later, I'm now home but my rig is in a garage an hour away.. so once shes fixed and I'm hoping that this is the real problem...I'm probably just get something that can get me from point A to B without dying or pray to god she doesn't die anymore, because I can't afford or handle it. oh yeah I love Fridays, FML
  5. all Canadian cars legally need daytime running lights... but I'm interested in not having them either.
  6. I used sportrack, basicaly a less expensive brand to thule and yakima, cheaper and simpler, but also sturdier.
  7. i do that aswell at a place in washington, except they charge $5 a package, but heck it works well.
  8. if you use the thule website it will tell you, just select your vehicle and choose factory racks..
  9. This website could probably help some of you get good deals on gear http://gearattack.com/ and best bet, just buy something else and don't bring up your "spare parts" unless they ask..
  10. stock racks do usually have a low rating, but i wouldnt imagine that 2 bikes would be too much weight..... does the racks sag or have excess movement with 2 bikes on? if not then I'm sure it'll be fine for 3hrs driving, also depends if its pavement or 4x really i guess
  11. yeah, I'd say the winch to ball setup is a bit of a risk, 2" receiver mount is better.... I agree on the dangers of a cable snapping, coming from my hookin chokers experience they're a very deadly thing and when any cable breaks it can be hell....since it can go in any direction at a very high rate of speed and will demolish anything in its path
  12. i'm guessing its probably not your head unit thats the problem then... but my only idea is wiring problem or faulty harness
  13. those would be just like my bobcat tires
  14. wow thats bad hope everybodys alright i work with a guy, his pathy is almost as dented as that..and he still drives it haha
  15. i seem to have that same problem so im gonna try this since ive tried and checked everything else i can think of....but my only confusions is that it runs fine once i get up to a fast speed..and sometimes the problem goes away for a few months and then returns and haunts me for a few weeks and angers me...
