So I gather that these are even more beneficial on an R50? Why is that? The auto hubs on the R50 different?

Hey guys, if we are looking for stickers made, my best friend owns a Vinyl cutting business. He cuts all sorts of stickers mostly for commercial apps. but he used to sticker up my cars. I could talk to him about whippin something up for us.

LOL, I have to agree. I could give two @!*%s if I'm shifting on the fly or not. Like you said, I'm never really surprised by conditions requiring 4H. I'll look around, post the best prices I find here.

Nice find. Glad I didn't bid on those other ones. Definately jumping right in. I don't think I've ever kept a car stock for more than 2 months.

Ooops. Yes, manual locking hubs, that is what I meant. So if they are locked you can shift on the fly? For regular driving though, you would just keep them unlocked, and that's the whole point of getting them correct?

So here is what I gather. If I install these, I will not be able to shift int 4H on the fly. I will get out, luck the hub, shift into 4H and be on my way. Am I correct? The benefit is less wear on my CV joints, and possibly increased efficiency. This is something I will probably need once I lift it anyways, so should I just go ahead and get them now? Found a set of Warn lockers for 131.00 on ebay. Good price? Should I just get um?

Well I have vested my faith in the members of this forum. Looks like I'll be rolling around on 31x10.5's after this weekend. Oh boy...let the fun begin. Now I just need torrential down pours so this new trail I just found gets nice and mucky.

I'd be pretty interested in this. I probably want to do a lift and skids first, but definately interested.

Ok outside of gas mileage, I guess back to the original question. Will this affect driveability at all?

How adversly does it affect your gas mileage?

Would a 30 or 31 render my 235/70/15 spare completely useless? My guess is yeah.

Really? So you think I could even go to a 31x10.5? I'd be worried if I turned hard or anything. I figured having the dsidewall tapered that much would totally mess up the handling of my truck. I guess It's a good thing I asked. Anyone else able to say about the same as Redpath88?

So I know the tire question is extremely redundant, but I have gotten a different answer from EVERYONE I know. I figure my best bet is to ask fellow pathy owners. I have these stock rims (just in chrome) Those rims as some of you know are 15x7in. I can't afford new rims right now, and I am stock on suspension. My rig is a 97 SE...I think b/c the registration says XE/SE/LE. If I go with a 30x9.5x15 hos drasitcally will this screw with my daily highway/city driving? I'm thinking that being 2 inches wider than my rim is pretty insane, but I don't know. From an offroad perspective I'm sure it's an awesome setup, but daily driven, will I encounter major problems? And Will I more than obviously have to upgrade my spare as well? Am I better off with a 265/70/15? Thoughts? Any feedback is appreciated, I've always been a sports car guy.
