  1. The .RARs are fine, I use em all the time. Just scooped the one I needed. Thank you for helping out so fast guys!
  2. Holy lifesaver. That is awesome. Thank you much!
  3. Alright, the links in this thread seem to be dead. Does anyone happen to have a PDF copy, or any other way they can shoot me over a Service Manual. I'm dismantling my truck this weekend, and would LOVE to have the Service Manual before I start.
  4. Do the Q's have different brakes than the Pathy's? My Pathy (97) came stock on 15x7's and it clears the brakes. I don't see why the Q would be any different.
  5. That makes sense. I'll be taking a look tonight or tomorrow. I have to fix this before next week though, because I have surgery and doubt I'll be gimping my way out to work on the truck...then again it would be a good way to kill time.
  6. Ok, after everything I've read I agree, my belts are more than likely loose. They were replaced in march so they have probably stretched. Will I have to actually adjust the alternator, water pump, etc whatever it may be or will I have idler arms (that is what they are called right?) that I can adjust them at. I haven't gotten under the hood of this beast enough yet to know.
  7. I guess that is a possibility. Just did almost all my belts in March, but you never know.
  8. So I have a 97 that has developed a cold start issue that is driving me insane. It's been doing this for a bit but has gotten way worse as the weather gets colder. Upon startup, only a cold start though really, the engine squeals fairly loud from the front end at about 1500RPMS then speeds up with the engine as it revs up to aout 2000RPMS. The squeal then stops, the engine stays at about 2000rpms for a minute or so or until I put her in gear. Now the colder it gets the longer the squeal sticks around. It's obnoxious as hell and I cannot figure it out. The only thing I have ruled out is the Fan clutch, as that has recently been replaced. Any ideas?
  9. My first real wheelng trip was with a jeep club and an xterra club. I was climbing slopes and slopping through mud with entirely less trouble than the jeeps. One guy towards the beginning suggested I go into 4L and 1st or 2nd gear (autotragic) and I told him nah, let me see what she does in 4 hi. Went right up a huge gravel covered incline that he just had major trouble with. The jeep guys at the end of the day were very impressed with the capabilities of my pathy and had nothing but good things to say.
  10. I like the winch. If that thing gets stuck are you really going to be able to pull it out with a winch?
  11. It's completely functional. I'm not sure of it's actual funtion, but I'm sure it has one. But yeah, the rust has to go STAT
  12. School houses, small villages... :o
  13. Hey 5523, you linked that other guy to come to this thread, but there is no info in here yet lol. Anyone have some replies? If not, I think 89 trailboss' idea doesn't sound bad.
  14. There are major differences. The 00 doesn't have encaps, it's just a full plastic bumpe cover. I'm just curious if it will bolt up
  15. I have a 97 pathy. My bumper ends are beginning to rust. With a Chicago winter on the near horizon I;m about 99.9999999% sure they will be for crapo by next spring. Solution, replace in the spring. Problem-The front end can be done fairly cheap. The Rear endcaps however in chrome or black are fairly expensive. The cheapest I have found is $58. Not that I cannot afford it, but it seems steap and I honestly don't want to spend that money now. However for a similar cost I can go another route. Bumper covers from a 2000. Do do front and back would be about the same as the end caps all the way around (including the middle on the front) The truck would definately look unique, and nearly mint after doing that. I know the Turnsignals and fogs are different, but as far as mounting will I have any difficulties? Can anyone think of a reason this wouldn't just bolt right up? I really kind of want to do this, just to do something different. What do you all think?
  16. Lucky bastard. I hope some of this research pays off for R50's too. *shakes head at R50*
  17. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET Thank you for adding another freaking thing to my mile long list of crap I have to do to my rig. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr How was the install?

http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/i...4caeaf2bd1718cd Here you go sir. Exactly what you are looking for. Stiffer spring rate, so they won't jack the back end up higher by much, but they won't compress as much as stock under load.
  19. How much and where do we get them? hate my headlights. I've tried upgrading bulbs and everything.
  20. Not bad. You did it straight back from the Y pipe or what? Anyone else?
  21. Awesome thread, I want to get into welding too. And good question by K9. What is the difference between wire and stick? Pros and cons.
  22. It doesn't matter if you get the chrome or black, they are both metal. I actually have the black on my 97 and they are rusting a bit. I may actually bling it up and buy chrome ones to replace them after winter. Chrome is actually easier to find. Search Ebay for them.
