Ran into the same problem last winter. I got parts from the junk yard, rockauto.com, and eBay.
-
Yah that's usually how it works. You're just not supposed to know who your Santa is ahead of time.

I have the AC lift plus the 1" spacers. I have not had any problems with the CV's so far. I do have Warn hubs so the front wheels only turn if I am in the dirt. I was out last weekend doing some moderate wheeling and observed no odd noises or any other problems.
The surface you are driving on has nothing to do with the manual hubs. The manual hubs are there so you can 'manually' engauge or disengauge the drive in the front wheels by turning the hubs.

Secret Santa: The Gift Thread
I just recieved my gift from Casey T. and let me say...it's the best gift ever! Everyone please post your gifts, possibly a picture, and your thoughts on the gift. I hope this plays out well
aged since '99!!

$210???? Holy crap. I made mine out of a ricer tube from Autozoe and a K&N filter. Very cheap and effective, just make sure are your hoses are in the right spots.

Try to get a heat gun and re-mold it. A half inch is kind of a stretch, but you could also try to silicone the gap too.
-
If you want to spend a little less money, the Rola from etrailer.com is a good choice. That's what I have in my sig.

I dropped a few people out of the running (2 or 3), thus the wrong address. However, everyone still has one secret santa and one giftee.
On another note, I would love an NPORA shirt, size L or XL, you pick. If that's not possible, anything else that you can think of would be great.
I also like cigars (the kind you get at a tobacco shop, not phillies or swisher sweets). Acid is currently my favorite brand.
Oh, and I apologize for the lateness of the addresses. I was on my break and I didn't bring my laptop home so I had to do it from my parents pc. I got quite a nasty pm for being a few days late

Random it is! Secret Santas will have thier assignments by the morning
-
I know I'm a day late, but we have two setup options. I can either pair everyone together randomly, or I can get a little more coplicated. There will be a line connection instead of pairs, for example:
Instead of:
88 <---> Red
It would be:
88 ---> Red ---> Pezzy ---> Fueler ---> TNZ ---> etc.
Please let me know what your guy's opinions are. If, by 5 EST tonight I don't get any responses, I'll send this post out in a PM to everyone. I want to know what you guys want to do, not what I want to do. After I get some responses, I will compile the list tonight, and all of the North Americans will have an assigned person by tomorow morning.
Thanks!

The 15th sounds better...thanks for the pin

We are making a wish list thread, a post-exchange thread, and (hopefully not), a gift not recieved thread.
-
Is it a whine, a rattling, squeal, possibly a rhaspy noise? If you describe what kind of noise it is, that would help us pin point it. Try opening the hood and spotting where it's coming from exactly.

NPORA Secret Santa
It was suggested in the POHO (Andrew) that we try out a secret santa, NPORA style. The way this works is:
1. Post in this thread saying something such as "I'm in."
2. I will then shoot you a PM asking for your address.
3. I will randomize the addresses of all of the Secret Santas.
4. After I get all of the addresses from everyone, I will send out another batch of PM's to those who are participating. This time, you will be assigned an address.
5. You are now this person's secret santa, hold the address dearly.
6. You will then select a gift, being at least $5 in value (pending), to give to your person. Creativity is a plus santas.
7. Send the gift to the address I sent you, and you will recieve a gift from your own Secret Santa!
I will be accepting secret santa participants until November 15th, giving time for gift selection and shipping. Thanks!
As SC88 stated, everyone needs to be aware that there is going to be international shipping, this is another reason I chose to give the secret santa addresses out a month early.
Repercussions for signing up and not sending a gift are in the works. They will be harsh.
Participant List:
Nismo
Redfinder
SC88
Fueler
Pezzy
K9

Red

TNZ

Some gift ideas include: pathfinder keychain, gas gift card, gift card to autozone/chain part store, tools, first aid kit, NPORA decals, hitch caps, car wash soap, etc (i'm just throwing some quick ideas out there)

Well if you had 1000hp in your pathy you would still be sitting there spinning the tires. Just because you lost traction in a 2wd vehicle in on a boat ramp does not make it crap. As far as the a/c and stuff goes, it looks like you got a lemon.

lol i didn't even realize
Sigh, here is the parts list:
valance
center chrome bumper
bumper ends
corner light
headlight
washer bottle
bumper mounts
filler
bug guard and a big hammer for the hood dent
fender flare molding
signal lights
grill
emblem
However, withsome good research, I got all of the parts for around $500, opposed to the $2300 quoted by the body shop. Just take your time when doing the work and make sure everything lines up right, even if it needs a little persuasion. I never realized how much money i could save! Here is the final product:
