good sugestion! will try that and changing the fluid.

You are right on on the Spirited driving, if i dont let off it will run up the the rev limiter if i let it. as soon as i back out of it it shifts (let off the peddle that is). As for the maint on the tranny, I was leaning towards changing the fluid, just havent had a chance. (not sure when the last maint was done on it... But it is parked at the moment till I get a chance to look into the probs!) Pathy has a new Radiator it at the moment, but I intend to put a after market cooler on.

Ok, I have looked threw many topics, and still haven't found the problems that I have with mine. May have missed it though! Problems are: 1st: Going down the road with spirited driving, the tranny doesn't always shift.... if you let off a bit, she will go ahead and shift. Any ideas? 2nd: With pathy cold, if you shift into reverse, she shudders but does move. But, if she is warmed up, she does just fine. Hopefully I'm not getting ready to have to put a tranny in, but if I do, I will!

Put new plug wires on the beast.... after the # 6 one started to arc! (3 & 5 had done it already) Oh yeah, also tightened the fuel line claps on the line between the rails! That would have been a bad mix.... fuel and an arrant spark.... could have had a flame paint job! LOL

Well, put rotors and pads on the rear.... only to find that the right caliper was bad as well.... now have to finish up in the am!

I wish they offered these factory cup holders in America

Yep glad to be back into one as well! I did somethings with the first one that just impressed me... remember NN03! loved the smurf, but nothing better than a pathy!

Well, the other day was driving home and the pathy just stopped dead in its tracks and wouldn't start up again. Had AAA tow it home.... First thing I checked was the timing belt, as was told it would need on soon. It just happened to be off by 2 teeth. So, put new timing belt, water pump etc on. It still wouldn't start, so I popped off the distributor cap, and low and behold found my problem... the bolt that hold the rotor button in place had fallen out! It must have jambed the distributor enough to cause the tbelt to jump. Got it fixed and back on the road.... nice thing is I don't have to worry about the tbelt for another 60k!!!
