1 cyl low on compression, sitting at 100 lbs., and a botched xh stud removal ending in broken drill bit in head with a pierced water jacket. and a leaking rear main, and serious lack of power. the other cyls were sitting around 130-140 lbs. auto, so i need all the power i can get....

my vg30i is having issues, and i am soliciting advice for options on replacement. i live in the seattle region. complete rebuild, jdm engine, or junkyard? if rebuild, who? if jdm, who? if junkyard, who? prices?

thx red, all good info. the main reason for the "kit" was the convenience, but that's some moolah we're talking about.... little extra leg work, but worth it. i had no idea on mfg's. thx
-
looking to upgrade my suspension with a 3" lift, and wondering about the quality of kit mfg's like a/c and calmini. while i am not rich, i do have some disposable cash from selling a project and would like to do the 3" all at once, shocks( rancho 9000x) and all. i didn't think that the 824.00 price for the a/c kit unreasonable. also, i didn't see that great of a price diff by seperate sourcing uca's, tbars, springs, and shocks.... could anyone recommend other mfg's i've missed? any money saved goes to other things like rack, winch, body lift, etc.... so let me have it. opinions are wanted, and i always enjoy a different point of view. and yes i searched first to educate myself. thx in advance...
