  1. i dont think it looks THAT bad. its not painted also. which makes it worse than it is. the fenders are clean cut, its mounted very neatly. just the pvc is 2 different kinds (the grey being for underground electrical work) and the white primarily used for plumbing. if it was all the same color i think that it would look good. i will soon paint it. post pics and yall can tell me what you think.
  2. basements almost finished....i live in north jersey though. let me know. as for jobs...theres tons just depends on what u wanna do and what experience you have i guess. pm me if you want edit*** just realized this was in NW chat...offer still stands even though it is really far
  3. yeha but that splash guard has like 500 screws if its on there good from the factory. 6 bolts isnt too bad
  4. one phrase: 4x4 im guessin you dont have a tire carrier on that hog do you? i mounted mine on there, homemade mounts. if your got a roof rack you can mount it there too. pretty easy. but you dont want a hi lift on your front bumper....only reason im saying is because ive kissed way too many front ends good bye on and off road. good luck with whatever it is you choose to do. if youd like me to snap a couple pics of the mount on the tire carrier...for ideas etc. let me know via pm.
  5. i have a snorkel on my r50. i dont see alot of people asking me how i did it or where i got it or anything. just another rig with another snorkel, no big deal.
  6. u dont have to remove the defender plate to remove ur drain plug...just gotta squeeze your arm in there (im fat and i can do it) champion plate only weighs.....help me here marcel maybe 30 lbs..... its not a big deal to take on and off...
  7. haha i know 10g is almost as think as 3/16 inch but i was just trying to see if ud chime in and leak information on upcoming products!!!!! muahhahaha (evil) i like my 3/16 inch so i was just recommending it to everyone else anyways.....
  8. well marcel (black panther) is working on the t/c skid. i know dean (xplorx4) and myself along with a few others im sure have invested in the xterra tcase skid. if you check deans website www.xplorx4.com and go down to armor on the main page. there is a write up on it and part numbers etc. its cheap $28 shipped insurence.
  9. its not that its bad. but better to be prepared with the thicker steel fror good bad and ugly before it happens.
  10. plus that crossmember is $631 USD and what pezzy like $34,324,874.42 CD??? its well worth it. your next question is probably which ones to get? - easy 3/16" super skid kit. why you ask - the 10 guage is just a super glorified splash guard. and yes - get the powdercoated. lol DAN crushed a rock with his 3/16" - dan chime in?
  11. or it might be because i break the most stuff because of my sheer stupidity levels. which tend to be higher than most as an 18 year old. my mentality is as follows: "oh i can do that" later to realize i cant "that water isnt deep" later to realize it was and i hydrolocked my motor "those rocks arnt that big" later to realize they were, it they liked my oil pan "i wont get stuck in that" later ot realize i will, and did if you tell me i cant do something, im going to find out for myself, its how i learn.
  12. oh yeah i forgot about thsat part breaking - although it doesnt hold any significant mechanical or driveline value. but i think pezzy can agree - thats probably the first thing she broke off.
  13. u and your $631 USD crossmember HAHA thats okay im on engine number 4....would have only been 2 if i had skids though.
  14. as said above. first thing to go is the cv boot. then the joint then then entire drive axle. (it makes ur 4x4 work) i beat on my r50 harder than anyone i know or have seen so when i break something...most other people dont. heres a list of stuff i have broken on my truck: 1. cv drive axles - get warn man hubs (get out lock instead of auto hubs) 2. engine (GET SKIDS) black panther or ac 3. front and rear bumpers - unless u can find a tj 15 good luck or u can make one like tyler or myself did. 4. dents and scratches from trees, branches, rocks 5. stock airbox - mine got destroyed, so i did a k&n open element, which got destroyed, so i made a snorkel 6.interior is complete mess because of the amount of mud/water ive taken on, its like the titanic 7.sensors (o2, heat something or other, vss) im sure there is more i just cant remember as the temporal lobe....has taken 1 too many hits for me to do so.
  15. simon and pezzy are correct. the r50 has rack and pinion steering. there is no centerlink. although it is not common in pre 96 pathfinders for this particular part to wear out IF the vehicle is not taken offroad. (for example my dad has an 89 pathfinder with like 360, 000 miles on it....without problems) but my r50 only has like 200, 000 on it and i break stuff all the time when i go wheeling.
  16. sent you an IM saying did u try using ur key in the passanger side door (making all door unlock to see if it worked that way? as for removal: theres a few screws and ALOT of body clips u dont want to break to get the door off. probably not a loose wire due to the fact that it locks. theres the main door panel AND the arm rest part of it (2 pieces) it is a PITA to get back on if u break any $6(from nissan) body clips
  17. no probably not. i just thought id see if anyone would follow suit guess not.
  18. when u wanna go wheelin? ive got a pathy up for sale also. its a 97xe.
  19. its funny how more than 30 people have looked at this...but havnt left a reply or anything. haha
