Dam, I got big wigs from Bellevue coming in tomorrow and I get to wear sunglasses Pure 100% accident, Sh!t Happens... Nice thing is I have someone to clean the garage next time.. maybe even get some Chocolate chip cookies out of the deal :contract: Got the skid off, broke the back two bolts :furious: Found the leak, one of the tack welds has a hairline fracture... got to do some research... quickie patch with some stuff from schwabies.. see if it holds....... JB Weld time????
-
So Oliver shows up around 630, 6 pack of Mikes We feed the poor starving college student and head out to the garage time for some fun After dertermining that the skids got to come off and finding the appropiate tools and breaker bar.. Oliver has a flash back, spasim and just hauls off and

Forgine Engine 800.552.9889 Alan did the Sales, Fabion does the warrenty stuff... Comes with a 12 month unlimited warrenty, I would also suggest the Maintance Warrenty incase you have some little quirks like mine... Other then the tap, which we now beleive to be a bad replacement lifter... it would pay for a % for a mechanic to dive back in and change something out.... While your at it, new studs for the exhaust, Thorleys $340, Oil filter relocation kit 30-50 100 miles north... Ferndale?? or farther??? Wait you said Crow... some where up the Skagit?
-
O, Cell phone died I should have it recharged about 530 ish.... May have to order some Pizza for dinner... Bring Lisa
-
Im still working on a VG30DE... No turbo's to mess with and the intake gaskets to the Heads are the same as our VG30E.... I am working on a local Company to let me play with one...
-
My engine was from a company in Lynnwood WA... No location in your profile... Dont know if this would be a good source.
-
If the timing belt is broken or missing teeth, the rotor will not move.... Buy a manual look at the diagrams... If the belt is missing/broken... when the crank turns it also rotates the cam sprockets... drivers side cam drives the distributor.......
-
Susan B. Anthony Dollar is what I found... After removing the seat....
-
If you punch a hole through the filter... Make sure you have lots of Rags on hand to clean up the mess... You dont want to get any on the starter... I have also had luck when the motor is warm
-
I hate to say this but..... You are loosening the filter and not tightening it to remove it??? Lefty (counter clockwise) Lucy, Righty (Clockwise) Tighty... The last time I had a jiffy lube change my oil, the guy underneath was tightening it and screaming it would not come off.....
-
Oliver Im still here... Where have you and Lisa been??? Oh ya we just got of the phone
-
I was able to pull and replace my motor without touching the front Axel.... Auto vs Manual.... Slick??? My JDM was out of a Max, supposed to have less than 35k on it... $790 delivered 2 days later... Runs like a champ, just has a nasty tap... Appointment Wed with the engine guys to verify parts or another new motor.... My 91 with 33" tires will eat my 95's lunch for power.... I will do it again if I have to... well maybe a 3.3 block, 3.0 crank and heads.... Anyone got a VG30DE Cheap???
-
Should swap no problem.... Worse case is you use your intake up.....
-
Pull the front upper cover... That should be a good indicator on weather you broke the belt or ate the teeth... mine was about 18" of teeth... Gone..... I Removed and replaced my engine, added some Thorleys, dual oil filter relocation kit... BTW mine blew 20 miles after installing a 3" SL and sliding on some 33" tires with Alignment.... Depending on the damage you may get away with just some bent valves... I oppted for a swap due to the 224k miles on the engine and 20k miles on a rebuilt tranny.

Bring it over, we can take a look
-
oops.... Whats next?
-
I love my Pathy
-
There are a couple of us available VIA Phone if needed... How far are you from Spokane WA (99218)
-
Keep you chin up man!!!! The Right Pathy will fall into you lap at the right time.... Keep the eyes and ears open... The day I had given up and decided to by a Heep from one of my Clients I got a call telling me about a Black 95SE..... 30 min later I was looking at it, Driving and ummm went to the bank and cut the guy a check.....
-
Still runs? no new Dents or Dings? Id kill them just for general purposes.... I have the Distributor wire from both my Pathy's in my brief case, here in Seattle... No one drives them when im not around....
-
I would agree thats a Coolant Leak..... Could be Water pump, bypass hose or even the lower hose/T-Stat.... Depending on your Mechanical Abilities.... Strip down the front, Do the T-Stat, Water pump, Timing Belt, and front Cam Seals.... Parts should be less than $100... Doing these things $Priceless$
