Hey guys,
Here's the latest on getting DT headers.
http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/blog/2012/06/28/nissan-pathfinder-hardbody-headers-by-doug-thorley/
In short they haven't been made sine 2006 and have had a price increase. check out the blog for full details.

I'm in so cal.
I don't know anything about the Cleveland national forrest but I spend a lot of time in big bear, johnson valley and have been to borrego many times. I was in borrego about 6 weeks ago.

Thanks Everyone!
Seems like you skipped having a WCM this year. Maybe something next Fall?
Yes Definately.
It probably won't be called WCM, but most likely something more along the lines of a RR Customer Appreciation event.

Sounds good Steve, thanks for the update. I noticed they updated thier part numbers on the PDF for Pathfinders. Also, thanks for getting the springs out to me. They work great.
No Problem!
Any ballpark on how much they are going to sell for?
I actually know exactly what they are going to sell for... 194.95 ea.

I've been in contact with ARB on the new redesigned struts. AFAIK they are built and in australia. It's going to be about another 8 weeks or so untill we see them here in the states.

if I'm not mistaken, there is a slip joint on the shaft.
This is correct.
-
Thanks!
It was a good day on the trail. hopefully more NPORA people will come wheeling with us.

Looks like SteeevO is going to take the win. Damn you! lol you should be banned from truck of the month until we see a complete coilover SAS kit on your site lol.
LOL.. are you planning on SASing within the next year? hopefully we'll see prototypes before winter is in full swing. so with any luck I wouldn't be banned from totm for all that long.
The rear 4-link prototypes are exactly the production kits, i just need to make more.
I haven't voted yet...

when you say there is play in the driveshaft do you mean moving it up and down 2 - 3 mm? or by twisting it?
-
Some of the early Frontiers also had 31.. They are somewhat sought after being they have locker options and are the correct width for an Xterra.
From what i hear, those are the desert runner Frontiers.

interesting. keep us posted.

did you run the codes on the ECU?
It might also me a defective knock sensor.

Thank guys.
It's been great being part of the Nissan 4x4 community and helping build trucks bigger and better.
Feel free to give me a ring if you guys have any questions or need parts. I don't always catch the questions here on the board.
-
They are in stock and on the shelf. They are still being produced.
... did i really ask this questions 6 years ago? lol wow. a lot has changed in 6 years.

take a picture from the bottom at the rear most exhaust port.
I know there is a bunch of IFS stuff in there but try to get the camera in there.
If it's cracked, chances are it won't be visible from the top.
I don't know if you guys saw my last post ^
I'm trying to help you.
In your last pic it doesn't look like the gasket is sitting tight against the header and engine.it looks loose because the headers don't have a perfectly smooth flange. the exhaust tube sticks out past the flange and only the edge of the each exhaust tube actually seals around the exhaust port.
If it's cracked, 98% chance is on the underside of the rear most exhaust port. Check it carefully. it won't be visible from the top.
