Feel free to recommend our site to any of your members. I will have a much more comprehensive breakdown of the products that we offer when the website updates in the next few weeks. Look for the new website to have over 50 new products for all Nissan models. As far as your application is concerned, I have a ring and pinion set in 4.875 and 5.143, and they are $475.00 and can only be used with the V6. We also offer a Detroit Locker if your vehicle is not equipped with the OE limited slip differential. Feel free to call me at the shop if you have any more questions. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Subject: diff gears

looking for aftermarket diff gearsets i want to put my pathfinder on 32's or 33's and be able to do more trail runs.

your products could help many people on the forum found online at www.nissanpathfinders.com and the people there are always looking for products for thier WD21's and newer

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so yeah i just found out about these guys today so i e-mailed them... so yeah they are gonna have alot of new stuff on thier site soon.

also they have alot of valuable wd21 info on thier site

  3. $17 to replace the plate plus w/e the sticker costs...

i guess there is some dumb law that says u need one on the front and the back....weather tehy enforce it or not is another story... it might be a little difficult trying to pull someone over from the front after noticing that they don't have a plate on the front....

  4. so yeah went riding yesterday cleaned the bikes and put the trailer away....then washed the pathy.. everything seemed to be ok.. but then i went to the movies and a few other places and ....i wake up this morning.. and my license plate is gone.... how retarded is that...i got a police report...so now i get to go to the least favorite place for anyone ever.....this dreaded place is known as the DMV....

wish me luck.... i hope the plate comes in b 4 i go to utah....oh wait i'm leaving in a week...

  5. so my idler arm and pitman arm are worn pretty bad...and i want to upgrade to better ones with out having to upgrade the entire steering system. i am planning on upgrading the whole steering system later but the idler arm and pitman arm are really bad so it needs to be done asap.

who should i go with? and who offers steering systems i know calmini and LP.. but the acronym LP is used soo much i don't even know what it stands for ...lol so if someone could give me a link to thier site, that would be great.

also who else had a HD steering system.. maybe if the price is right i'll just upgrade the whole thing.

or if this has been covered in another thread then a link to that would be great to but i couldn't find too much on it

    thnx

  6. u can come pick up this pathy it just won't have a motor or tranny....it might have front suspension... just depends if i have to put it back on to get it out of the garage.....

as for the frames matching i though they were the same from 900 -95 but a dealer told my dad that only 90-92 are the same.... so i'm really not sure.. just trying to share what i heard... i guess it would be best to compare part numbers..

dang i wish i had that software the dealer has to look up parts...

  7. ok welp i'll have to ask the dealer then.. but they are so stupid sometimes...like today...

I called the dealer to see when the diff support brackets would be in .. and i was all excited so i flew down there as fast as i could to get them to get them.... but come to find out they ordered the wrong ones....after 2 hours of steam comming out of my ears. i tracked down the correct part numbers and the order will be processed tomorrow...

this really ticked me off because the unknown wrong brackets were on backorder for like 6 weeks...

but the transfer case is in and i am driving the pathy w/o a front diff.

    -SteeevO

  8. i got the other pathy and got the transfer case in and all now just waiting on 2 brackets for the front diff. i had a pair orderd and were on backorder for almost 2 months then they came today... they were wrong.. so now for round 2... we'll see what happens..

boarding winter is later so far but mthigh bear and snow summit are open here in so cal mammoth also opened a few weeks ago..

can't wait to have 4WD and cant wait till winter

    -SteeevO

  9. after i finish taking the drivetrain out of a pathy.. i don't know what i am going to do with it. i'm out in california. but i u want the rest of PM me

also only the 90-92 frames are the same. i don't know about the 93-95's

the pathy that i'm taking the drivetrain out of is a 92

  10. i know the remote thing was beat to death but i couldn't find if all the factory alarms are remote capable.

i have a factory alarm but i was wondering if i could add a remote or do i need to get an entire new alarm system? i have a '90 pathy.

    thnx

    -SteeevO

  11. i know this isn't really the place but just a FYI.. If the kit were avaliable b4 i started the whole project i would have done an SAS instead...however it still isn't out so.. IFS for me....

  12. i'm just glad A SAS kit is finally going to be availiable.. i too wish i could have either all coils or all leafs.. but... again... FINALLY an SAS.. now the real ?... i'm still converting my pathy to 4WD ...i'm at the point of putting in the front diff.. lol or should i just wait for sas.. ah decisions decisions.. maybe a discusion for another post...

  13. on the tranny there are 2 switches a reverse and a neutral

then on the transfer there are also 2 one neuatral and one 4WD for the 4WD dash light.

so i don't know what the neutral switch is for on the transfer i hooked up the neutral switch on the tranny like it was when it was 2WD and the reverse light as well .. however i don't have a 4WD light on the dash so i'm going to put an LED in the 4WD shift knob... but then i don't know what i'm going to do with the neutral switch on the transfer..

    thnx

  14. so it's drivable now.. but i left the camera at my das where me pathy was being worked on... i'll get pics up hopefully tomorrow..

Sorry for the long wait on pics.... batteries also died in the digital camera... lol but i have some pics on my phone too.. i'll get them all uyp soon

  15. so i was wondering Y there are 2 neutral switches.. one on the tranny and one is the t-case.. what is the one on the t-case connected to?

    thnx

    -SteeevO

    -----------------------------2WD-> 4WD Conversion Update----------------------------

I got the t-case and tranny in now and the pathy is going to the exhaust shop tom. i have the thorley headers in but i need to have the exhaust re-routed just a little bit and also running 2.5" pipe..

so yeah it's driveable now...started it open pipe today..no cat no muffler.. wow.. it was kinda loud...

    sounded like a boat..

  16. so i picked up the thorley headers yesterday and my calmini UCA's came in yesterady as well.. the tranny w/ transfer case are going in today with a little tranny mount mod...

the brackets that i need welded to the frame to hold in the front diff are on urgent backorder from the dealership.. if that ends up taking too long i will just be custom fabing the 2 brackets.. then bolting up the front dif and swaping spindels.

the pathy i'm pulling parts from i'm either going to donate it for a tax writeoff for part out the rest of it.. havn't decided yet..

so yeah it's comming along. hopfully will be able to have it driveable my the end of the weekend.. but most likely not with the front diff in yet.. but i'l have 2WD Low!!.. LOL

i'l have some pics up later

    -SteeevO

  17. i was originalyly jus trying to get teh rear half of the tranny off. but it was being Major PITA so i just dropped the whole tranny then stood it up with the tailhousing on top then used a rubber mallet and 2x4 to hit the flanges that stick out. it came loose.. i'll be putting the transfer case and tail housing in the originally 2wd pathy today.

then i'll be waiting to get the brackets in from the dealer so i can mount the front diff.

also what is the best stuff to use to seal the tranny back up?

    thnx for the replys

    Steven
