  1. yeah... I think I'll pass on the Wheelin to the oldies idea...

Rock typically (99.9 KISW and The Funky Monkey 104.9 are my local station of choice), but I really do have a wide range of music.

If not radio then it's burned mix CD's. That was until my CD changer died on me. but it made it through 3 vehicle's and something like 10-12yrs, so I guess I got my money's worth.

No matter what it is, it's almost always down low or off while wheeling.

  2. No problem, I ordered an O2 from them not long ago and had no problems with them at all.

The sensor they sent me was a perfect fit and the tanks I've drained since installing, have shown better gas mileage.

  3. If you have not already replaced your sensor, you might try Bosch4Less That link should take you right to the results for your truck.... assuming that the Canadian trucks use the same sensors as US trucks do.

The prices range from about $50USD to just short of $97USD

I am also not sure if they ship to Canada, but it might be worth a try... give them a call and see.

  4. You could try the parts stores websites, or your local parts stores.

    A few sites...

    Parts America

    NAPA

    AutoZone

They might have something for you. Make sure that if they do have what you need for less, that it is still less when shipping is added to the total.

You can (or should be able to) go with a direct fit or universal cat. Direct fits units will cost more but are easier to install.

A parts store should be able to tell you what size inlet/outlets you need. Also before ordering make sure that your system has not already been changed prior to your ownership of the truck. In other words, verify the size of the pipes in and out of your cat and muffler.. don't want to order the part listed for a Path, only to find that they are the wrong ones at the time of install.

Oh something else comes to mind.. have you called other shops? What about shops out of your immediate area... if you will be out of town any time soon, it may be worth it to have it done elsewhere ("if" pricing is better).

    Good Luck!

  5. Something you might consider trying...

Order the parts if they can be found at lower prices (which I am sure they can be) and maybe someone at an exaust shop might consider doing a side job for you.

If you can it will save you some cash and put some $$ in his/her pocket.

  6. Hello everyone, the names Scott and some of you may recognize me from other forums.

I am still fairly new to the Nissan off roading and forum world. I have had an '83 Toyota 4x4 for years however, which I have done some modding too.

But this is a Nissan place, so... I have an '88 Path SEV6, that's burgundy in color... or whatever Nissan called it. Although it's still basically stock, I have done a "little" to it and of course plan more.

Things I have done, include a set of ProComp ES3000's at each corner. I also have the steering stabilizer, but have not acquired the mounting hardware for it yet. A custom made idler arm brace (made by another forum member). A custom roof rack, well ok it's off of a Blazer but I did modify and custom fit it.. so does that count?

I installed the rear belts w/shoulder harness from a '92 or '94 Path. Also this weekend I put in the rear high mount speakers and the front A-Pillar tweeters and trim panels from a '94... I am forgetting some things, but none that are major anyway.

It's rolling on 31x10.5 BFG AT's currently mounted on stock chrome spoke wheels. I have a set of new Alcoa look-a-likes that I have to do some work on... all scratched up, w/some pitting as well. these will replace the wheels on my yota. Who's wheels will then go on the Path. I have been "planning" on doing that for to long now, I really need to just do it.

Once that is ready I will be throwing in the JGC coils that are in my garage and cranking the torsions. At this time I may also install the 2in body lift that has been sitting in my closet for a good two years now. I already know that once I do this it will not be enough and a bigger lift will be headed my way.

I've had this truck for several years, but am only now beginning to mod it. I had a lot of problems with it prior to now, somethings include a bad ECU, distributor

After I finally decided to ignore everyone else and just replace the ECU, which I suspected vary early on, she started right up and has ran great ever since... currently at 285,746 miles. Well with the exception of the broken cam while going 60mph.

I lucked out on that one, had the head checked for damage (was none) replaced the cam and a couple worn lifters and she once again fired right up.. first try even!

Well this post is way too long as it is, so I'll stop here.

  7. No worries guys.  They say those of us in the NW will have by far THE BIG ONE when isht hits the fan.  According to the geology types, not only are we due, but we should be good for similar to the type of Anchorage, Ak back in the 60's. Somewhere along the 8.0-9.0+ range, basically total destruction.  The little 7.0 a couple years ago, along with some recent volcano activity (St. Helens) is just a cheap preview.

Yeah I live a vary short distance from the epicenter of that quake... a coffee can fell from the cupboard and a brick wall separating my property from another, cracked some... my yard is about 4ft higher then the next. What surprised me was the fact that my garage was still standing when I got home that day

I however was in Kent when it happened, in a building that took so much unseen damage that it was condemned.

They did not really know how much it took till a few weeks later, after it was cleared for entry and occupied by many people, the sprinklers went off. They could not understand where the water went... that was when they discovered the true damage it had taken. The foundation was destroyed.

Not surprising to me, since I road it out inside, the walls looked like jello and you could see and feel the shock waves rippling through the concrete floor of the transportation isle that runs in the middle of the building (spanning from end to end).

Few minutes ealier and I would have been standing.. err hanging off of the side of a catwalk some 30-40ft above a concrete floor.

It did enough damage as it was.. something bigger and this area is screwed!

Trying to ready my Pathy for the camping season, this is on the to-do list :-) Will this work?

First off, hello everyone. WAVEY I'm new here, but some of you probably know who I am from other boards.

    Now about the subject...

A bit late on this, but oh well

I just replaced mine and I can say that the O2 sensor in that auction is NOT the right one for a V6 Path.

The one they list in that auction (by the part number they provided) matches Bosch's "universal" listing for a Pathfinder with the Z24I engine.

My truck is an '88 Path with the V6 and it uses the same O2 as yours does.. or at least, "should" use the same one. I got mine from bosch4less and the Bosch part number is 15207.

For whatever reason Bosch's website does not list a O2 sensor for our vehicals, but this is indeed the correct one. Comes prewired with connectors. Looked exactly like the old one I pulled out and gave me over 1mpg increase.

Anyway, hope I was not to late and that this info helps you out.
