Alright! The same problem is going on when my Pathy gets warmed up. It stalls or has a rough idle at stops or slowing way down. I replaced the knock sensor recentlly and new Platinum plugs. Wires looked good and so did the distributor. Now I'm thinking hte O2 sensor. Possibility? It happened before and I thought I happen to get some bad gas at the station. It ran fine for a few days and now back to the rough idle and stalling. any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!

    Thanks!

  2. Hey fella's! Has anyone ever attempted BAJA fenders on a Pathy? Or has anyone seen them on a Pathy before? I see them on HB's all the time when I'm in AZ visiting. How hard would it be to fit? I would love to give it a try. sly

I know the rear would look goofey with the front gutted, but wouldn't you be able to cut the rears out also? Just another crazy a$$ idea I have.

  3. :furious: My darn pic's didn't load, so I will try them again.

I didn't get the BAJA! When I first got the prerunner, I thought they sent me the BAJA because the whole thing wasn't welded together like most others I've seen. The bars angling down mount to the top of your bumper and the bottom bumper gaurd that goes across the front of the bumper mounts to the front of the bumper.

Hello all! I'm back and I just received my PreRunner a few days ago and just got back from buying lights  It's mounted and the lights are mounted, but not hooked up yet. I should have everything done in a few days. Here is a couple of pic's from the garage, will take a few more once it is washed and I'm outside. The greatest thing I love about it, they custom fabbed it for my fog lamps :cool2:

For not too much money to invest for a good look, it's not too bad! I went to the local Advance Auto Parts Store to get the pair of lights w/ the wiring kit and switch for only$50.00. I can't wait to see all the lights on at once! If anyone needs some info on the install I'm more than willing to share. I don't think it is too big for a write up.

Alright! I have finally found out where the heck my PreRunner is! I didn't realize that they are built upon order. I figured that they would already have bulk product available. It should be finished from fabrication and shipped the 13th of July. Keep in mind I ordered it on the 29th of June. Not too bad. Looking forward to getting it put on. I purchased lights already, so I might just kill the factory lamps and go with just the off-road lights.

    Keep ya posted!

  6. Yes fellas, It's possible! I'm in the process of building up a 350 to a 383 Stoaker. When all said and done, I'll be pushing 440 horse. I have a buddy of mine willing to sell me his 383 already to drop in and go for $1500.00. I'm passing it up to enjoy the build on my own. The biggest things I've heard that needs to be done is the engine mounts, transfer case adapter, tranny, driveshaft, and your gearing. So, yes it is possible.

Good luck to all who will attempt this wonderful project!

  7. -alcohol- What the hell! I suppose I could order it and have a buddy of mine reweld the mounts on. I was wanting to keep the lights, but who knows? I already have some 7" round off-road lights for the prerunner! I think it will look awsome! Thanks guys! Here goes nothing! Time to order!

  8.

I have a problem Fella's! I was looking at where the PreRunner bolted onto the bumper.....Mudfinder's pic. I have a '94 w/factory fog lamps in the bumper right where the darn mounts are. Has anyone seen these and what am I suppose to do now! I was planning on ordering the PreRunner tomorrow. Here is a pic of my rig for ya to see what I'm talking about.

  9. Hey Mudfinder,

Where did you get your rear sticker that says "Nissan Mudfinder"? I'm thinking about getting a few done for mine, but it will say "Nissan Pathmaker". Sounds pretty awsome I think. :cool2:

  10. Where would someone with a Pathfinder decide to mount a CB antenna? I was going to mount mine on the top rack or the tire rack, but not a nice fit unless I get longer bolts. I spent $45 for the antenna and now I have to buy different bolts! What the F*@#! Yes, I'm a tight a$$.

    Any ideas from you all?

    Thanks

  11. Alright, sorry for the long delay! I hope I'm not too late!

First thing is first. Make sure you have all the correct tools needed. The only one I needed to get was the hex socket for the manifold bolts.

    1.Drain your radiator fluid.

2.You'll need to take all the upper intake manifold. Be sure to label all the hoses and cables where they go.

3.Removing the throttle cable and necessary brackets also.

4.Using a hex-type socket, remove the manifold bolts.

    5.remove the manifold.

6.Release the locktabs in order to unfasten the fuel injector connections.....BECAREFUL not to damage the connectors.

7.Remove the fuel lines from the fuel rail....(I did not do this, you don't need too if you don't want.)

8.Remove the fuel rails by hex-type socket or allen wrench.

9.Remove fuel rails with the injectors installed.

10.Now you will have to remove the lower intake manifold.

11.The unit bolted to the top of the engine block with a cable connected is the knock sensor.

12.The connector also has a locktab.

    13.Unbolt the sensor and replace.

14.Clean all the old gasket off where the new ones must go.

15.Now you are repeating the steps, but backwards.

16.If need be, You might want to replace your O-rings. I didn't because of the engine swap I will be doing in the near future. I haven't noticed any differance in the fuel consumption and horsepower.

Good luck and enjoy a few beers while working on this. If you have a buddy to help, it will go alot quicker.

Let me know how it goes.

  12. Yeah, I know Mr. Pickle...I think it is time to screw over all the other makes and models besides ours. We need to have major engineers design the top of the line stuff and only offer it for Nissan/Toy's.

I was just giving you some grief about the chroming. I know it will cost ya an arm & a leg.

  13. Sounds ;ike Mr. Pickle has a problem with COPS! Better watch it! Having insurance helps alot, but still phone the found Jeep to the Police Department and leave it at that. You did your good sumaritan(spelling) deed for the day. It doesn't take rocket science to figure out what to do in this situation.
