Man, you all make me feel like I'm tarded! I'm gonna have to try my torsion bars again. I didn't get the lift I was expecting. The front still slopes down unlike the rear. I'm angry! :furious: Once I get it to where I want the front, I'll get an alinement and then some pic's for ya'll!

All you guru's make me  , but we love ya for all your knowledge. -study-

    Thanks guys/gals

I better check mine also. I've been hearing some popping after putting my CALMINI lift on also. I still haven't been able to get the front end up as high as it should. If you look at the front compared to the rear, the rear looks much higher. I had new cv's put on when I installed the half-shafts. It's getting in the season where I hate to break into things during the butta$$ cold weather. That's Iowa for ya. Good luck & HAPPY NEW YEAR!  -alcohol- :bed:

Hey 88, I know there would be some custom fitting, but how would you know which model to go with for the size? Try Toyota, JEEP Cherokee, Explorer or what?

Hey Grim, How about some pic's of your rear bumper and swing away?

Speaking of using parts from other vehicles... 88, you are a junkyard junkie....if I happen to run across or want to run across some manual locking hubs for my Pathy, what trucks should I be looking for and how will I know what will fit my Pathy?

    Thanks for the info everyone!

I haven't seen any on Pathy's, but does anyone have a clue! I was looking through a Quadratech catalog and some other off-roading mags the other day and I saw some tubular rear bumpers with a hitch fabbed with-in the bumper. I think these look sweet. Kill two birds with one stone. Does anyone have any idea on what something like this would run &/or have you seen any of these on Pathy's? I'm thinking about looking for a local fabber and see what they could do for me.

Any thoughts or concerns would be appreciated!

    Daadaadaa D@MN!

That is one sweet high ride. Can you say BUCKS!

I remember reading some forums from him on the AC site. The guy rolled his truck and was using a doner for spare parts if I remember right.

I would have one big attitude if I was behind that wheel!

Talk about a pain in the butt! I received my CALMINI lift kit and I'm 3/4 the way done with the install. I'm waiting for new spindles for the upper control arms! Yes, I said the spindle. I hate individuals that don't take care of their vehicles. It took me forever to get the darn uca's off and trying to get the darn spindles out of the original uca's to use for the new uca's.......after heating them up with a torch and beating the hell out of them, they are useless. I ordered new ones from the Nissan dealership. Yes, you read it right! I needed to order new ones, which were $50.00 a piece. I'm hoping to get them on Thursaday and finish the darn lift. Once done, I'll take pic's and post. Again, I hate it when people don't take care of their vehicles. The frame is going to get a complete coat of POR15. The rear passenger side frame is rusting! Two bolt size holes rusting through now. :sniff:

Keep Lifting higher & higher.

  7. YEah, that's his. I believe he has a 4"Trailmaster suspension with a 3" body lift on 35's or 36's. That's what I'm shooting for, but with a 3" CALMINI lift and 3" body lift on 33" or squeeze 35's in.

  8. :furious: Since we are bashing JEEPS, how about this one? I saw this saying on the net somewhere...."Yeah, I got your JEEP Thing, and it hurts to pee." I think I'm going to get some window stickers with this saying. Maybe this one too..."No, I don't have your JEEP Thing, I have something Better."

    What do ya think? :aok:

Let's figure out more and get them made!

  10. I'm getting ready to order my CALMINI Kit Monday morning! -bounce- :D

I think I will reindex my torsion bars and maybe sell them cheap to someone that won't have a clue! :aok:

Hoping to get it by Wed. and have it installed by Thurs or Fri. B)

  11. Thanks for the info. I'll try it and hope it will save me the money on new torsion bars. Expect more questions, since I've never dealt with this before. If this works, the only thing I will have to purchase is the upper control arms and shocks. Thanks amillion!

  12.

So, if I re-index my original torsion bars, would they stay? I think it would be a great way t osave $$$$$$$$$ if it truely works... I just purchased some Ford coils for the rear for $10.00 for the pair. Thinking about parting my suspension lift together instead of CALMINI if the torsion bit will work. I'm reading NOT to purchase the AC control arms. I'm thinking that if I have to go with the CALMINI, then I might as well buy the whole kit for a couple hundred dollars more and have everything new and ready to go. So, what do you all think about that?

Thanks for all the imput!

  13. Does anyone know what brand of shocks the CALMINI's are or who the maker is? I'm getting ready to order my 3" Kit, but just curious! Once I have enough money, I'm going to order 33's or 35's and put the 3" body lift on also. I don't think I want to put it one on top of the 3" susp. with only 31.5" tires. I think it would look too fubar'd. anyone do both with 31.5" tires? If it would look good, I might consider it.

    Thanks for the imput!
