Duffman! You jinxed me man! I thought things were going good and I happen to look at my Pathy yesturday and  . My driver's side from the rear was sagging lower than the passenger's side. :furious: :furious: :furious: ! So, guess what I'm doing tomorrow? You guessed it, figuring out my dilema.
If you got your's figured out, let us know what you did and likewise!

Grim! What is the H3LL? $100.00 on clearance? They just got them out! Where are you from and what target? I'll have to keep my eyes open. I would snag one or even two for that price and turn a profit on the second one. Do you have it on yet? If so, how about a pic of the finished product?
Thanks

You have to love this sickening world! JUst give it time and something even better than that will be looking you right in the eyes at the department/auto stores.
All you can do is

 WOW! That is a HUGE difference. I think I'm going to take mine off now. Just the rear for now. I'm also a HOT HEAD driver if you make me be. That's the last thing I need right now is to ROLL my Baby! Loving the flex though!

I don't get it! I think I'm going to get that kit also and re-do my ball joints, even though I really don't need to right now. I did get one pinched before getting the truck alligned after the lift. But not bad. I'll have to take step by step pic's and a write up for all you that are too afraid of using up some of your precious time and try to learn something. Save yourself some money on labor and get more toys & gagits for the Pathy! -bounce-
Good luck to all that's attempting the ball joints!

Hey Lextronix,
How about posting a pic of it for all of us to view? Thanks!

I have CALMINI's 3" Lift Kit also. I'm very happy with it. My next purchase will be beefier frontend steering components and a rear locker. -bounce-
Keep us informed on how the rebuild is coming for ya!
Good Luck!

Did you replace the rubber seats on top of the rear springs or did you use the old ones? If you used the old ones like I did, You might have turned them a few degrees more and that right one maybe sitting in the same spot as the old springs and the left side is not in the same groove as the old springs. Just a thought. If not, it could be a bad spring, but I myself have never seen a bad spring compaired to a good one. I guess I've been lucky! Good luck!

Alright everyone. The basket I've been talking about is 39" X 44" X6.5" (WxLxD). I was at Traget today and it is $199.99. It's universal and I believe it does come with an installation kit. It does fit onto factory roofracks.
Hey Pezzy, do you notice any wind noice or anything with the airdam off? It's suppose to prevent wind noice and be a little more aerodynamic. Just curious, I'll probably be doing the same thing.

That's what the basket at Target looks like Pezzy. I'm not going to put the Coleman sticker/decal on it, but similar.
Hey GrimGreg, Make sure your Target is a Super Target! I doubt a smaller Target store will have them.
Good Luck to All! -alcohol-

Just an FYI for all you non cargo basket owners......Target Super Stores is now carrying Cargo Carrier Baskets for the top of our vehicles. I was in my local one and saw them for just under $200.00. It's universal...sorry, I can't remember the demensions of the basket. I know that it is 6.5" deep. For some reason I want to say it is 30" X 56"...Don't quote me on that. I tried looking it up on their website, :type: but couldn't find it. I think it is too new for their site. So, if you are looking for a cheaper price, that's not too bad for a new basket. I'm thinking about getting one once I get my bonus check in a couple months. Hopefully they will still have them! If so, I'll get some pic's for you'll to see what it looks like.

Thanks Pickles!

What am I doing wrong? I go and brouse my pic's and open them so I can attach them to my forum and NOTHING! I haven't been able to attach any pic's for quit some time now. So call me retarded, but what am I missing?
Thanks!
The reason I ask, I want to post a pic of the Nissan Patrol for those that haven't seen them before & I also have other pic's to post. Thanks!

Hello All!
I have a few questions for ya'll. I could have sworn I was looking on some site( God for bid I remember which site it was) and saw a complete bushing kit for our Pathy's. I've been WD40ing the hell out of my bushings through out the front of my Pathy to try to stop all the squeeking. It works for a day or two, but then comes back. I was told I should replace the bushings through out the truck and that should take care of the squeeks. Do any of you know where I could find a complete kit instead of buying the individual sets? I really don't want to go through AC, but really don't want to pay the price of the local shops or retailers. If need be, I will. Just thought I might get a good bite from some of you...
One other question........Why is it so hard to get a Nissan Patrol imported to the US? Is it because of the certain qualifications the auto's need to pass for the US or what? I found a few on NissanOffRoad site. Looks sweet!
Thanks for the imput!

Sweet look! I hope you enjoy the ride and the lift like I have with mine....
Enjoy!

Hey Mudfinder,
How do you like your Lock-rite? I'm thinking about getting one soon, but not too sure. I've read many write ups on it and the pro's and con's, but from someone with firsthand impressions and use....
Thanks!

Beautiful Ride! Could you tell all of us what back spacing you have on those wheels? I've been told that back spacing is very important..If you don't pay attention to that, it could screw up your axle shafts ...How true is that?
Keep up the Great upgrades!

I don't know who's posting that it's hard, but I think it is one of the easiest jobs out there. Jack up the truck remove the tires and away you go. It's very simple and if you happen to have a Chilton/Haynes, it will be even easier. Good luck!
-
Ya know, I've been thinking about taking mine off and throwing the spare up in the cargo rack once I get one, but I was thinking.......how fun and easy will it be getting a 33"-35" tires off the top of the Pathy once I have my body lift on and making the Pathy 6" higher than originally? After thinking it through, I'm thinking about doing it anyway. Can always fab a swing arm for the spare from the custom rock krawler rear bumper that is getting fabbed. Decisions, decisions
Let's over the options!
-
I mounted my antenna on my tire swing in the corner and haven't had any problems with the ground or anything...

Post some pic's ASAP!

The spacing isn't much, but I haven't had any problems with mine. If interested on how much lift there is, look at my other post in the general. "Lifted Pathy". I'm really happy with the lift. I'm thinking about getting the steering upgrade components and look for beefier lower control arms.
Good luck with the lift!

Sorry it's taking me sooooo long to get some sketches done for the safari doors. Just an FYI.....if you go to AC's site and look at the Truck of the Month pic's, you'll see on with safari doors. The guy's anme is Richard. Anyone know who this guy is? I would love to get in touch with him to see how he did his....Keep you'll posted!

Search engine!
Yes, the chassis are different! The only things the two share are engines, tires/wheels, front-end suspension, some models share lights, bumpers and maybe some of the interior dash components. That's about it. Why not build the Pathy back up? If you do build the HB up, put Pathy front fenders on and you can have it looking like the BAJA trucks. Looks SWEET! Good luck!
