So what are the Manual Locking hubs? what do they do and how do they work? I'm 4wd by the way

I want to get bigger tires, and do some more offroading, but is it worth it to lift my Pathy? Lurking around on here, I've read that it can cause some problems. I'm new at this whole thing, and I like the look and idea of the lift, but is it worth it, or should I just get new tires and have that be it? Thanks

OK, the way it works is, the brass thing that the arrow is pointing to is supposed to be INSIDE the hitch. its an anti wobble thing. you tighten down the bolt next to it, and it presses up against the top of the reciever. The reason I can't just drill a hole in the rack, is because it it not for a regular hitch pin. The hole in the rack is threaded, and a bolt goes through one side of the reciever and threads into the rack, pulling it tight against the side of the hitch. This is a moot point now anyway, because I went out there and looked, and there is no real way to drill a new hole in the hitch anyway. On to plan B......................who has a plan B?

The bike rack has an anti-wobble feature that is supposed to fit inside the hitch, but it doesnt. it sits right on the outside.

I have a bike hitch rack taht I want to sit a bit closer to the back of my vehicle. not much, just like 2 inches. is it a really horribly bad idea to drill another hole in one side of my hitch to accomodate this?

I dont know the technical jargon, but basically, instead of a body on frame, our body & frame are one (attached), hence you cant lift the body alone... so we're stuck with suspension lifts... which isnt necessarily a bad thing. from what I understand, suspension lifts are better for your vehicle, and they give you better ground clearance

did you have to trim any for those tires to fit?

D90s are the best offroad Vehicle ever! I do love my Pathy, but for offroad, D90s are wehre its at

I have come to realize the only real lift out there is the AC lift kit. I know I'm going to get one soon, just don't know which one. This truck is my daily driver, and I plan to put BFG A/Ts on it. I go to the mountains a lot, as I race Downhill mountain Bikes. Any suggestions for which lift to get? Like I said, Its my daily Driver, and I see myself becoming a weekend warrior, but I work A LOT. I work weeks and weekends, so I'm going to try and get up to the mountains or some trails as much as possible. My work drive is about 50 miles a day, all highway. That being said, whats the biggest size of BFG A/Ts I can fit on one of those lifts with no rubbing? I want to keep my current stock 16" rims. Could I fit the LT235/85R16/E? Thanks all
