  1. oi, im off to a rough start here. I think i'll rephrase my question... If the vehicle has Sport shocks, tranny, and wheel disc brakes, should it also not include the LSD rear end? I can't seem to find any comfirmation anywhere as to whether this was included in a "sport" package, or if it was a serperate factory option. I need to know by tommorrow when i talk to the guy about buying it. Its kind of important. Thanks for trying to help anyhow, its appreciated.
  2. I can't really do that as it isn't in my posession, I think it has LSD, cause it has all the other goodies. Didn't it come as part of a sport package? or where they all individual factory options?
  3. im pretty sure it comes like that from the factory with all SE models. but i honestly don't know. I've just been researching what ever info i can get my hands on in the last few days. I can't see it being an aftermaket option though. So my question still remains. If it has 4 wheel disc brakes, and sport/comfort settings for the tranny and suspension, should i conclude it has LSD also?
  4. Im thinkin about buying a 95 SE pathy. It has the "sport" suspension with the switch inside or what ever for it, same goes for the tranny. and 4 wheel disc brakes. But i didn't notice a LSD sticker on the rear diff. Is it possible that it doesn't have LSD in the back? Its the original diff, so i dont think thats the problem. Is the sticker hard to notice perhaps? thanks in advance!
  5. and if you accidentally left one side locked and not the other? I've always wondered about this, cuase my buddy freaked out when he just about forgot to lock both hubs.
  6. My buddies GF works at a Kia dealership and she said a few weeks back, that an old rusted out toyota came in for some stupid reason and needed an alignment or somthing. anyhow one the idiot mechanics (it is a kia you know) asked how the milage was only 30k km's on a vehicle so obviously old and beat up. The owner stared at the guy for a second and said it had rolled over. It had 1,030,xxx miles on it pretty impressive if you ask me. As to whether it was the original engine (not likley on a yota) is up to you to guess. I still think its pretty amazing everything else was still holding up though.
  7. Just stumbled by this site via a link on another Nissan forum. I might be getting myself a pathy soon. I was a little leary of the price for the milage, but here's what I'm looking at: 95 SE-V6 pathy with the sport package (LSD, 4wheel disc, and dual mode shocks/tranny) 166,xxx miles (267000 km) on it and its been babied the whole way. Looks like brand new inside and out, save for some very small scratches on the door. Never been offroad, but 4wd works like a charm, I tested it myself. All the maintanance has been done (water pump, timing belts etc) The guy wants, 7500 CAD, or 6250 USD roughly. Is it worth it with all those miles on it? How far you think it'll go before it starts to get old and break down? I'm also used to driving around my little ford tempo so the gas bill is going to take some getting used to i think. But if its gonna last me and be reliable till 400000 km's i'd be more than happy to buy it. so whats your thoughts guys?
