  1. Its 4 screws... 3-5 Electrical connections (i got an 88 so idk if they changed the amount of connections... i got 3 or 4) then you rotate the assembly and it comes out... just make sure you have the shaft out of the hole on the outside... I bent the opening inward now i gotta get it taken care of cause it wont seal right....

  2. Oh turbo diesels eh....

I just think they look sick so i wanna put on one mine just for the sake of looking cool.... and the intimidation factor is present too.... (I mean come on... '69 camaro pulls next to you at a light... the hood scoop makes you think its got some power... and with the amount of jeeps around here where I live... I need everything i can get)

  3. pull a plug wire and set in next to the engine so that it will arc out. if not you have a direction to go, starting with the coil.

from what i read, its not firing at all. even if things are all screwed up it'll still run.

I've seen these engine that have broken timing belts, put back toghet wiht bent valves and STILL run.

check your timing marks on the upper 2 cams, line them to TDC. then pull your distributor cap and make sure that the rotor is pointing at number 1.

All plug wires arc.... tested that right away cause i didnt want it to be something that simple to be the problem....

I will probably look at my timing belt and everything this weekend... for me i got no school next week(spring break) and i am not doing anything so i am gonna try to do as much as i can on the car next week...

  4. The timing belt isn't cracked or anything is what i meant... but i am gonna replace it anyway so i don't beat myself later for bending valves....

Battery and all connections are clean and fine....

I will be doing the compression test tomorrow and i will post my numbers... then you can tell me what i should do about it....

Got new plugs and wires... hopefully that will help it get going....

  5. I have read up on the topic of using jeep grand cherokee coils to give you a lift in the rear.....

Got a friend who has got both front and rear stock coils.... he said I could have the backs and the fronts....

Just curious to know, is there anything I can use the front coils for on my WD21?

  6. It's crap... read the product page:

Pardon me... but how do you soak something into metal...? Last time I checked, metal wasn't considered a "porous" material... now, if it's ERODING the metal, maybe you could mis-construe that as "soaking into it"...

Maybe... just maybe... if the SAE actually endorses it... then maybe. But ONLY if they actually give it the go ahead...

You know what... now I'm not so sure... they provide MSDS's for them... so obviously they do conform to ASE standards...

Maybe there is something to it... I'll give it a shot once I get my paycheck - I recently did an injector cleaner concentrate... normally I get ~~~ 250 miles per tank... this time I got 300 *shrugS*

So you mean to tell me its crap when all the reviews were good reviews?

  7. As soon as I get my Credit card info figured out I will totally throw some cash at this... totally worth it!

And uh.... Love the T-shirt Idea.... could you do some stickers so I can put em on my back window?

  8. Well I got this muffler for $26 brand new... and I was already ordering things from summit so shipping included...

Personally i say don't put it on....

But for now, you could put it on and it would be fine... just remember that if you wanna send it back... you cant cause once its on a vehicle it cant be returned....

Just get a couple of exhaust clamps from advance auto parts and clamp it on there... its gonna leak but if its temporary then its worth it...

  9. i say dont put it on... find a local junk yard... get a muffler from another pathy and put it on there... not worth spending extra cash on something new that your not gonna use later....

If you cant get to a junk yard then i can get to one for you soon and get you one... just pay shipping.... and just pay the cost of the muffler...

  10. Send it back... get the larger pipe size.... go 2.5" exhaust... the whole thing is that if your looking for it to keep performance... you will still have performance... but why not up to the larger pipe and get MORE performance... so it will be a little more expensive... but in the end its worth it cause it will sound nice and yet be more performance...

  11. I really wnt to try that stuff but its too expensive, I will stick with Lucas Oil Synthetic stabilizer for the oil and seafoam for the gas...

Thats what i thought about doing... as well.... i just am wondering if the stuff works...

  12. Ok. Why?? What difference does it make if you can see the tailpipe or not?

Granted, I live in California. We've made an entire industry out of meaningless and ultimately destructive regulations (eg: CARB).

Its one of those "stupid laws" that just doesnt make sense..... the whole reason why I am saying to put a down pipe is its a "loop hole".... You can see the exhaust if you lean down but from a regular view you cant.... so technically i am following the idiot law....
