  1. Parking light is what I meant. I corrected it. 01 pathy, why dont you just buy a test light at the local autoparts store? Its prety easy to figure out the wire on the relay female ends where the relay plugs in. Im just talking about a on off tester nothing fancy. Jason
  2. As we all know the driving lights com on only with the headlights and shup off with the high beam on. I read a post a while ago on how to modify the relay for the driving lights on a pathy to stay on with the switch. What I didnt like about this set up is that I might forget to turn them off and the buzzard did not warn me about it. What I did today is wired them with the parking lights so that the buzzard will still come on if I forget to turn them off. Here is what I did: (this is on a 97LE, your wiring might be different) 1. Open the fuse box under the hood on the drivers side. Look at the top and figure out which is the relay that controls the fog/driving lights. 2. remove the relay and get a tester. Hook the tester to a ground. 2 sides of the relay mount should do nothing. One should stay on with 12dc and the other will come on only when the head lights low beams are on. It will turn off if the high beams are on or the lights are off. This is teh wire we want. 3. take off the relay box and flip it around, remove the bottom and note which is the wire that goes to that terminal that turns on and off with the head lights. Note the color of the wire. On mine it was a red with a black strip and silver dots. 4. Cut the wire loom somewhere away from the fuse box and find that wire. Test it again if you want to make sure its the same wire 5. Cut the wire. 6. Now take off the drivers side parking light (one screw on top and pull out). 7. Tap into the red wire and run that wire to the wire we just cut and attach it to the end coming from the relay block. I just used those blue taps. 8. Replace the relay box and tape the wire loom. Run new wire lom to protect you new wire. Replace the blinker assembly. 9. You should be all set. The driving lights should nw turn on with the parking lights regardless of the head lights being on, off, or high beem. Good Luck Jason
  3. I have a 97 and I just installed the OMEs on the rear. Its nice but the front is much lower and softer. I ordered the front OMEs and should receive them Wednesday. I just went with Monroe gas charged shocks. I got them from Davsport. They were pretty quick on shiping. Called Rocky and they wernt sure when it would @!*% so I went with Davesport Jason
  4. Thanks for the advise guys. Im getting two things here onle longer bump stops the other shorter. Mine are long and the 1" clearance is between the axle and the bump stop. The coils I installed are from a 2004 and the bump stops are the factory ones that came with the vehicle I think. The truck is very harch specially when I right over quick bumps the whole inside shakes. I heard these trucks are supposed to be smother than the avarage truck but the pathy rides like a truck I have new shocks Gabriels in the back and Monroes in the front. Any ideas on where to get those airbags cheaper anyone? Manual is fine for me. Thanks Jason
  5. I thought about buying medium ome coils. Will that make a noticible difference in height verses the fromt which has stock coils?
  6. I have a 97 Pathfinder. When I got the truck I noticed that the drivers side was lower then the passanger side at the rear. Also I have a broken bump stop on the drivers side. I replaced all the shocks with Gabriel and Monroe shocks and had smeone sell me the coils from a 2004 pathfinder. Also fixed the bump stop. Now, when I go over a dip the truck botoms out if Im going too fast also when I looked at the compressed coil (Under normal weight) there is only about an inch clearence between the stop and the fram, is this normal? Should I get heavier springs or just remove the bump stops? I think that is whats bottoming out. I also thought of shortening the stops. Any help is appriciated. thanks Jason
  7. I had the same problem and found it to be weak springs and one of the bump stops had fallen out
  8. Are the speakers 6.5" in the back and in the front? If Im buying speakers, what size should I look for? The ones that fit in the door that is. thanks
  9. Im looking to replace my speakers and stereo unit (Boss). Does anyone know what size these pathys speakers are? Can anyone reccoment a stereo? Im looking for either a flip face or one with a screen and that plays MP3s. Also any recommendations on a subwoofer enclosure that wont take up too much space?
  10. Hi guys I just realized that my car is lower on the drivers side rear then on the pass side rear. I measures it and I thing the right side was 35" and the Left was 34" Anyone know the stock ride height? Also, I removed the rear coins and the left is just a little lower. Anyone kow where I can get a replacement coil? Should I replace both you think? And if so where can I get a good deal? Not really looking to lift the truck either. thanks Jason
