  1. Thats pretty lame about the spacers. I almost ordered them, but the sales guy told me they are not worth it. I will just wait until I wear out my tires and then order the ac 2" lift. Danny
  2. I am dissapointed that they talked me into the medium duty springs and not the heavy duty springs. The difference from front to back looks pretty bad. However, they did give me free drop shipping which was nice.
  3. I am about to order a set of the spacers from Rocky-Road. I already have the .5" OME springs and am unhappy with the how the rear is in comparison to the front. I am wanting to fix this problem. Has anyone installed the new spacer and if so how does it look? Did it help? Thanks guys. Danny
  4. When installing spacers do you have to remove the front springs? If so I am just going to wait and buy the 2" springs from AC. I agree go with the heavy duty springs. I got the medium and it did not do anything up front and lifted the back 2".
  5. Would it be safe to double up two of the 9/16 spacers? Again I already have the 1/2 inch springs from OME. But I guess my main concern is if they would slide or shift even though there are bolts through them.
  6. Rocky Road is going to be coming out with a spacer soon that is 9/16. I'm not sure if you want something bigger than that or not. They are supposed to be $19 a pop. Not bad. Danny
  7. The guys at rocky road suggested I put the medium duty springs up front. So I installed the medium duty springs, and wish I would have done the heavy duty. They warned me that the ride would be too rough. But now I have a 2" difference from the front to back. It does not even look like I put the springs up front, but the back looks jacked pretty tall. Hopefully some more people will have some opinions on this.
  8. Luckily, I do not have many key's on the key chain. Just the ignition key, key to the door, and the keyless entry remote. Thanks for the tip. I might have to tell my wife to leave some keys at home!
  9. They replaced the ignition switch and lock and it cost me about $300. Originally the old key would not work so I tried a brand new one. Also, I leave my car locked up in a warehouse with the key in the ignition so if the one other employee wanted to steel it, he could have just driven off with it. Owell, it is all done now I just thought it to be kinda odd that it happend. Thanks for all the imput! Danny
  10. Yeah it is pretty weird that it quite all the sudden. I had 4 different people try it plus the tow truck guy.
  11. It was really odd. I tried wiggling the steering wheel and a bunch of other things. When the key was in the ignition I would try and turn it, and it just would not budge. I got a call and they said that they need to replace the ignition switch. Is that kind of odd to have to replace the ignition switch at 100,000 miles? danny
  12. I went to go start my 98 SE, and the ignition was completely stuck. I ended up having to get it towed. Has this ever happend to anyone else?
  13. Thanks guys, That's what I thought, but just wanted to double check. Thanks, I will remove it tomorrow. danny
  14. Hey guys, I got my black panther skid installed. However I am wondering if I should have removed the two bars one on the left and one on the right. It looks like they serve no purpose and they are stopping the new skid from fitting flush with the back end of the skid and frame. I also was unable to use the locking washers in the back because the bolt was not long enough due to the bolts holding on those two bars. What to do? shipping was good and fast, great product! Danny
  15. 01PATHYSE, Did you install the stiff springs up front? I only got .5 inch in the front and 2" in the rear, and it really bugs me how it is so uneven. I'm thinking of throwing the 2" springs up front. dwrounds
  16. Hey man, I put the medium OME springs on my rig. I noticed a big difference in the rear, but not much in the front. Now I am curious, and kinda wish I would have purchased the stiff springs for the front. Just because the front end is so heavy, and it sags even with the OME springs. The springs made such a huge difference in the ride quality of the vehicle. Overall I am very happy with the OME springs.
  17. Sweet! Thanks for all the help guys. I think I'm gonna go with 10 gauge champion. However, I just need to save up a few bucks. (buying a house drains the funds for your car).
  18. Thanks for the offer on the free skid plate, I think I will hold off and just save up for a black panther. Which one should I get, there are a couple of different options. I don't want alot of weight because I only have the OME springs so I don't want to sag anymore. Thanks for the help guys.
  19. The splash guard on my 98 has been falling apart for a while now, but this weekend I finally ripped it off crossing a stream on a log. Has anyone purchased the skid plate from 4x4parts? And how is it? Any other suggestions, I have a small budget? Thanks
  20. A month ago I went up to Denver for my Bachelor party. We had 4 sets of fishing gear, bikes, bags and you name it. The OME springs did not budge a bit....
  21. Go for it, I don't care what anyone else says. I am in love with the rover! Oh ya, my Pathfinder is pretty cool too!
  22. That is cool, I want to throw some 32's on also. next time I get new tires, more than a year from now I will have them put on some 32"MT's.
  23. I have always had 31's on my stock Pathfinder without having to trim anything. There was some rubbing on the inside of the wheel well, but nothing bad. Now I have the OME springs and nothing rubs.
  24. Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone has experienced their gas gauge being off after installing OME springs. When I fill up the tank it stops at 3/4 full. I am not sure if it is actually filling up all the way and the gauge is not reading correctly or because the gas tank thinks it is full because of the new angle.... Any suggestions!
