  1. Flyer, Are your tires closer to a 31 or 32 inch, I am not familiar with that sizing? Thanks
  2. Squam1, Did you have to cover the 1200 bucks, or did 4x4parts claim responsibility. Was it a defect or a screw up on the installation? I am pretty concerned now. However, I question wheter or not they even installed it because I could not see it when I looked.
  3. Runnerman, sorry I forgot to answer about the Rancho shocks. I do not believe that it would help with the ride height. The springs pretty much support all the weight. But do not take my word for it, others might know a little better than I.
  4. The reason why mine looks as if it is drooping in front is because I backed the right rear tire up on the curb. However, there will still be a difference in height from the front to rear. You can either buy the heavier duty springs (which I hear are pretty harsh) or you can have someone fab you a spacer. I purchased the camber adjust kit because both sets of tires I have owned have pre-maturally worn. I have heard from some different forums that Nissan aligned the struts the way they did in order to correct steering while in 4x4, but when you are not in 4x4, which is most of the time, it wears your tires out. This way my tires just sit flat and everyone is happy. Anyone know if I could fit 32" tires with this setup? Danny
  5. Hear is a bad picture of the new lift. I got about 1.25" all around. My front fenders are sitting at 33.5" and the rear is at 35". I am very happy about the results. I tried to take a picture flexing, however it came out poorly. The difference from front to back is not as dramatic as it looks. Danny
  6. I am picking up my 98 Pathfinder tomorrow! I had a local shop install my new OME springs and camber adjustment kit. Those of you who have had the OME springs installed, how much did they settle? I will hopefully post some pictures by the end of the week. Danny
  7. Man that is a sweet ride! My buddy want's to know what kinda rims those are, and maybe where you got them. He is about to lift his 91' runner. thanks danny
  8. Hey, I have bfg all terrain 31x10.50 on my 98 and I have just the slightest bit of rubbing on extreme turns. I have not experienced any rubbing while flexing. I am waiting on my camber adjust kit from AC and then I am going to put on my Old Man Emu springs. Any thoughts, suggestions, concerns? Have you had any problems? Danny
  9. lbinh, Hey thanks for the info. That is a pretty sweet ride. Is that yours? Where can I get those spcers? I am very interested in trying to level out the suspension, and give a little bit more lift. thanks again. Danny
  10. Well I went ahead and ordered the OME springs. I can't wait for them to come in. Unfortunately they had just run out of the front springs so I have to wait three more weeks. I have checked the sagging both with a full and an empty tank, and it is still the same. Hope this helps. After the OME springs settle in a couple of weeks how much lift should I expect in a 98. Thanks guys... Danny
  11. ABOMB1, Thanks for the info, by the way your ride looks sweet. So with my struts and shocks I can still fit the taller springs no problem? I understand that it will limit my downward travel, which is not a problem right now. If so I will definetely do it. Thanks again.
  12. Hello again, I have been having problems with my stock springs and monroe suspension. The suspension, both front and rear is new. But my tires are feathering funny, and just tonight I noticed that my drivers side is sagging 1/2 an inch lower than the right side. I really want to lift it but am short on cash and worried about further problems from lifting it. Has anyone here lifted and had problems with a 96-98 Pathfinder? Also If I were to lift it what are the neccesities that would have to buy along with new springs, struts and shocks? thanks so much for the input! 1998 Pathfinder owner.
  13. I have a 98 SE, and have 31X10.50 on mine. They fit great. Only at extreme right turns does it rub. I am not sure if there is a wheel well size difference between the SE and the XE.
  14. I have never heard of those spacers. Just a couple of questions. Where do you get them? How much? and do they work with stock springs, and monroe shocks and struts? I just had those shocks and struts installed less than a year ago. They are supposed to be pretty tough, however the right rear already blew up once. thanks Danny
  15. Cool, thanks for the advice. I will have to save up and get me some rancho's. The guys at accesories unlimited talked me out of the rancho's and into the monroes. Now I know! I just have to decide between the OME set up or the rancho and AC srpings? Thanks again. Danny
  16. Sweet ride! Im thinking of lifting my 98. Did you get the AC lift from 4x4parts.com? Danny
  17. Hello everyone! I am new and excited to get started. I currently own a 98 Pathfinder SE and love to take if offroading. It does great. However, I have only owned it for three years and have had to replace my shocks and struts every year. I first replaced them with stock parts. Soon after that they blew up again and so I replaced with monroe shocks and struts. Less than a year later my right rear shock blew up. Has anyone had this problem? Are the springs to weak for the weight of the vehicle? I am considering lifting it but im not sure if it will cause more problems. What's the deal? Thanks! Danny
