  1. Thanks Everybody. I'll have to think about if it's worth the risk of trying a different filter other than the Nissan filter. I am paying $9-10 dollars right now for the filter and gasket.
  2. I have the lifetime oil change through my local dealer, but they are charging too much for the Nissan oil filter. I found fram has one for over 1/2 of what I am paying the dealer. Is there a prefered brand, or a brand that I should stay away from. PS. The lifetime oil change is paying dividends as with my low mileage, I go in every 3 months and it's been since August of 1995 that I started doing the lifetime oil change. Hmmm (7 Years X 4 times a year), 28 oil changes at probably 20-30 bucks a pop. I think I got my moneys worth
  3. True, but I just got tired of hitting my head on the tailgate all the time
  4. Im sure I paid to much for them. But hopefully they will last a while.
  5. I got them at NAPA for 29.99 each, part number 819-5466. It took 10-15 minutes to install both of them. The bolts that they use though are a little soft and I rounded one of the bolts off a bit.
  6. Thanks, I'll probably head down to shucks or napa tommorow to pick them up, although napa online has them for about 30 bucks each
  7. Well after lifting the tailgate to load/unload stuff and having it drop down on my head a couple of times. I think it's time to replace the supports. I am talking about the shock like supports on the very edge of the opening near the top. Does anyone know where to get these things, hopefully generic ones. There pretty skinny so I think will make it harder to find replacements.
  8. Nice, my wife won't let me go out and play in the snow. We have the same conditions here so it's nice to know what the Pathfinder is really capable of doing. What did you lower your tire pressure to ? The wife might need to use the Pathfinder to get to work tomorrow, so I thouht I might air them down a bit. Working from home does have its benefits.
  9. Yeah, some of the people that drive jeeps think there invincible. I just saw one in the ditch on the local news.
  10. Snoviking, what kind of background do you want on it. Maybe something to do with your area, Ie a white Pathfinder driving past some historical place.
  11. Yep, but my Pathfinder hasn't been launched like yours. I did the animation as a cartoon because of those poor people still on dial up.
  12. I got a curio cabinet in there once it was about 6 foot tall. I've had bicycles, a rocking chair. I almost put a pinball machine in their but the wife wanted it delivered instead.
  13. Thanks Blizzardking, I am still learning about this animation stuff and work is very slow now so I am taking avantage of the time to do things like this.
  14. Thanks Jim, Work has been very slow so I can play around and do stuff like this, let me know if you would like on done, I am doing one for another person right now, and I am waiting to see if he likes it or not. Eric
  15. I have created an animated avatar as shown on the left of this screen. If you need a animated avatar created drop me a line and I will see what I can do. I have a few tools available to create these with and would be happy to create them.
