Just paid $2.12 a gallon in the portland, oregon area

I have a lot of stuff filled out and just updated my personal picture.

Thanks Everybody. I'll have to think about if it's worth the risk of trying a different filter other than the Nissan filter. I am paying $9-10 dollars right now for the filter and gasket.

I have the lifetime oil change through my local dealer, but they are charging too much for the Nissan oil filter. I found fram has one for over 1/2 of what I am paying the dealer. Is there a prefered brand, or a brand that I should stay away from. PS. The lifetime oil change is paying dividends as with my low mileage, I go in every 3 months and it's been since August of 1995 that I started doing the lifetime oil change. Hmmm (7 Years X 4 times a year), 28 oil changes at probably 20-30 bucks a pop. I think I got my moneys worth

Welcome to the board, and I agree that is a cool slogan

Yes I am just running it through the stock amps. It gets pretty loud at full volume so I didn't need to get another amp. Plus when I traded the wifes car in I took that stereo out and put it in my Pathfinder. Some other people around hear have done this so maybe one of them can help out in that area.

Congratulations on getting your rig. I don't know about the speedometer problem, but in my 95 I had to get an adapter to connect to the wiring harness. I hooked up a pioneer receiver with a 6 cd changer, the adapter was a $50 bucks. I think there is quite a few people in the washington area that you'll be probably be able to hit the trails with.

Welcome to the forums. Be sure to take some pictures of your rig in action when you can

Hi Joe, that's part of why we are here so feel free to ask questions.

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear about your other vehicle, my 95 got hit from behind late last year and you could hardly tell I was hit. The other vehicle didn't look so good. I think they ended up totalling it. Pathfinders are very durable, I think you'll be surprised just how well built they are.
