  1. I think I will just leave mine stock....
  2. That video is taken at Carnage Lefthand Canyon....
  3. I think his is almost done....
  4. Here is what they will do..... Click Here
  5. I don't think a selectable locker is going to hurt much. Currie makes most of their housings out of AL. The Grand Cherokee had some problems with the AL-D44, however it was due to the manufacturing process of the housing. They installed the R&P before they pressed the tubes in. Most of those folks had good luck with the second set of gears.
  6. Ya they decided to quit making the Pathy "truck tuff" in 96.... I still like them all though. The new X and Pathy are so simular, they should have called it the X-van. Then imported the 2-door Patrol and called it the Pathfinder. Or just call it the patol... either way would be awesome.
  7. Face it, there are plenty of vehicles in my driveway to make a person feel "man like" while driving. It is nice to see my "better half" so happy with a rig.
  8. It is perfect for the family. I has it all.... It flat spanks my Pathy (when it was stock) in all areas.
  9. Look what she went and did... I about wet my pants!!! It is awesome.
  10. Lee is on eastern time now. He moved to Detroit.
  11. Cause we have the same frame.... :cool2: Oh I'm sorry, you dont have one!
  12. They are about half done... CLICKY
  13. Got some new Treads.... CLICKY
  14. If you look at the outer knuckles on the front axle you will see I installed new arms. They are there to lift the steering links higher (out of harms way). With a solid axle it doesnt matter how high or low the links are as long as they dont hit the frame when stuffing a tire.
  15. You still have to machine/fabricate a bearing housing to the correct inner diameter to hold the bearing in place... Hmm I wonder what the local machine shop charges for that?
  16. Thanks 88, I was tired of thinking... LOL
  17. Lee Machines the bearing in house.....
  18. They should look awesome... Looking forward to seeing some pics!
  19. The whole pathy front end is the problem... can't polish a turd! Inner CV boots will be next.... Wheeling in general is not a economical hobby.... That centerlink is about the best money a guy could spend on ifs. Steering is about the last thing to experiment with.. I would never want to think "I coulda...." Smack into a nice head-on. As far as the sheep... oops Jeep. It is somewhat nice to be different. Wheeling in Colorado there are so many folks that complement me on the fact I don't drive "just another jeep". Now on a more positive note..... Stock Pathys really do well with a 3 inch body lift and 32x11.50's. Anything more that that is a place to throw a bunch of cash. The second the stock steering angles get changed it is all about fixing something. If you are running an auto tranny make sure to clean your tranny cooler and maybe even install an extra aftermarket unit. LOL, are you sick of me yet... just the truth. Let ya know whatcha gettin' into. Happy wheeling Bro..
  20. More PICS of the first trip..
  21. I have had good experiences with 4wp. They will honer the online prices along with anyone else's price. From what I understand T-Max winches are made in the same factory as MM. My Buddies with the with the T_Max have had good luck with them.
