Don't see why not!!!
Flexi air hose is all you need.
You have trhe round airfilter on top of the motor right??
Run the flexi hose from the inner gaurd to your aircleaner inlet. Simple.
If the inlet is not round, then weld a round section onto the end. You would have to do that for an aftermarket snorkel any way.
You would also have to remove the hot air intake and patch over where it was or youcould suck water up from around the manifold.

How flexy are the sides without any of the former support (pillars & roof). Are you going to hack up the lift gate to make a tail gate?
Keep the pics comming

Another nice thing about the plastics is if you hit a rock and it bends, it will bend back on it's own rather than having to drop the skid and get the sledge out (or roll over it a couple times) like with a metal plate.

Hey Greg....Paint is sticking just fine even after some pretty decent wheeling this weekend....
Cool, I hate Chrome so I gotta do something with them.

All this from someone who put a POS Holden engine in their rig

I just used a drill with a nut driver on it to run the screws in. I attached them to the crossmembers.

How well is the paint sticking? I was thinking of doing mine in a graphite color, but painting chrome can be a PITA sometimes.

Hey Flyer. Just a heads up, I'm 1/2 way done with my prototype UHMW Polyetheylene front skid plate. They work way better than steel and aluminum,
I just made a set for my 88 Pathfinder out of 1/2" cutting boards. I used 2, 16"x22" boards I bought at a restaraut equipment store for $13 each, then just used self drilling screws to mount them. Didn't make any cuts on them, just mounted the front one widthwise, and the rear one length wise. My only concern is the exhaust pipe sitting so close, but at the same time it's one of my biggest worries under there after nearly ripping the crossover pipe out of my 93 on a rock. They'll get a good test this next weekend at Coal Creek though .

I'm split, with my wide tires I like the look either way. I put my stockers back on my 93 and they look funny with the flares sticking out so far.

Both of those are proprietary spray ons. I would go with the Line X since they will tint it to color match.

ive heard that hawai has bad wasp/hornet problems. infact they has a nest that is 6feet high and 3 feet wide. one hell of a nest with like 20k cells for them buggers. its become a permanent nest. them suckers are pretty much the absolute worst insects ive come in contact with, i tried pressure washin one last time and didnt even kill the sucker, just walked off to dry some where, till i gave him a hand with lighter fluid.
With the moderate temp there, they don't ever have to go dormant like they do here, so they can build and breed year round.

I saw a Sentra, old squre body, for sale on E-bay once that had a full wooden (home made (duh)) ground effects kit.

I want one too, too bad you can't get them anymore. I've never even got to see one upclose :sniff:

anywhoo...what is seafoam?? i thought it was a cleaner?
It is, it's a "cure all" cleaner. You can use it in the gas or oil for cleaning those systems. For the gas you can either run it through a tank of gas, or dribble it into the throttle body (using the second method will clean heavier build up in the engine since it's more concentrated that way). For the oil add it through the filler then run the engine for a little, then drain the oil and refill it with fresh.

I had thought about making my 88 into something like an El Camino, so I did a photo chop to see what it might look like.
-
Not to mention they are 2.5" backspace.

what the hell kinda jack was that?
Exhaust jack. It's an air bag you hook up to your exhaust and inflate

:o I bought a new one at the dealer for my 93 about 2 years ago it was $35 and I though that was bad. I doubt they are the same if they quoted that much.

I've always just slept in the back of mine when camping, I used the seat bottoms for extra support for my single pillow (since I'm used to 2 at home). I'm 6'3" so I just left the lift gate unlatched so I could stretch out if I felt the need . I usually carry enough gear that it can be pushed to one side and give me room on the other.
In my 88 Pathfinder I rebuilt the interior with camping in the back in mind. I removed the rear seats completely (rusted out anyway) and built a plywood deck over the area they used to take up. The deck lid is level with the rear cargo area and there is about 4" gap between the rear of the front seats and the end of the plywood. Under the deck is a nice stash spot too. I carry 3 old moving blankets that I use for padding when I'm ccamping in the truck, just lay them out an roll out the sleeping bag over the top of them. I have an in progress pic, but it's too big to post, so here's a link to it: Pic

I've seen a couple with heavily modified front UCAs and LCAs with a coilover. The problem with doing it with the stock parts is the opening in the middle of the UCA is pretty small.

Could have been worse, the water pump could have seized causing your fan to shear off and imbed into the radiator. (Had that happen on my old S-15)

Could be a leak in the evaporator, mine sprung a leak one day and I got a blast of refrigerant out of the vents.
Where Can I Find Tie Down Screws?
in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders

The bottom of the screws are exposed to the elements since there is just a hole in the floor with a nut welded undernieth. Most of mine sheared off when I tried to remove them, so when I replaced them I just used self tapping screws and moved the hooks 1/2" from the original position.
