94extreme
:help: i finally figured out which of my doors has been doing this and it's the rear gate. the dome lights and door ajar light in the dash keep flickering.. sometimes on rough surfaces but mostly when turning R... i also looked for a pressure switch like the ones on the other 4 doors but haven't been able to find it on the rear door.. is it internal? any ideas how to fix this annoyance.. and yeah, i keep the dome lights off now but the dash one is driving me crazy.. thanks
k9sar
common problem and easily fixed. SEARCH is your friend. You can either adjust the latch mechanism or wrap some electrical tape on the catch.
Kn0xville
just take the latch off, and throw a washer or two in there.. i fxed mine that way long ago.

flnl
That's also what I did, the lights were coming on and the alarm firing in the middle of the night... just put two washers on each side and now it's fine.
94extreme
ok, i fixed it.. i just loosened the catch and moved it towards the front of the vehicle, retightened and whala! it's good to go... took all of 2 minutes or so... didn't have to use tape or mess with the latch.. super simple..
