brandon99
Thats pretty much my question. He said 277,XXX on truck and 100,XXX on the engine. So how do I tell. If he's full of it or not? Thankyou.
Leo94
A compression test is always a good way to start.
Alkorahil
Visual inspection of the bolts on the engine and transmission mounts and the bolts on the tranmission bellhousing would be a good clue. See if it looks like they have been off before.

Kingman
Bolts, stuff that's cleaner than usual, missing things, maybe a mismatched bolt or two, vin, fresh looking gaskets, etc.
