96pfinderSE Posted July 17, 2006 Share Posted July 17, 2006 (edited) well its finally on. i love the way it rides nice and stiff. although this mornin did suck i went in to the shop and started workin everything was goin nice. i start to put the shock with new coils in car and all i hear is a loud pop. well the darn strut desided to explode (literally). so i had to drive for 3 hours to find one. but now its finally done heres some pics: Before lift: first got tires: after i took the flares off with rack: NOW LIFTED!: ive got a wierd noise in the back though like a poppin with i flex any ideas? OR99.5Speed Posted July 17, 2006 Share Posted July 17, 2006 Looks good. Could the popping be a rear coil becoming unseated? Come to think of it, when my stock suspension is fully flexed in the rear, it makes a popping noise. I think it's just the whole rear flexing...not sure. vengeful Posted July 17, 2006 Share Posted July 17, 2006 Sway bar most likely. Also might be the chassis tweaking. I've got skids and sliders so my chassis is a little stiffer, and don't have a rear swaybar, and I don't get any popping sounds. Might also be the coils getting situated.
