88 pathy sunroof 91?

anyone know if a 91 path sunroof will fit in an 88? :o

Do you currently have a sunroof?

 

I looked into it once before, but it was not possible. My '87 did not come with a sunroof. The one I found in the J/Y that was a factory installation.

 

The factory installation has a pressed opening that I couldn't duplicate.

 

If you do have the factory pressed opening and the measurements are the same you should be good to go.

oops i fo-got to say it was da stock sunroof in my 88 and she's in about 300,000 little pieces. i can't find one around here and the glass places won't even touch it, but there's a 91 factory sunroof i can get so i wonder if factory sunroofs are the same for 88 and 91.

Well I do know that the moonroof covers are the same for all of the years, so I'd assume that means that the moonroofs are the same too...

can u measure the glass? or and measure the whole and leave like .25-.5 inch difference in the diagonals (for .125-.25 gaping on each side) and if they're the same or close it should work as long as the glass isnt too big...if it is just duct tape it on and until u can get to a glass shop and they could prob cut it for ya
