I am living in Japan right now, and will be moving back to the states in September of 2007. I desperately want to take my Diesel Terrano beauty back with me, but have no idea on what to do or who to ask.

 

I know that the speedometer and various other clusters will have to be changed to MPH instead of KPH, but does anyone here know where I should start?

 

I know I could buy one from an importer in the states, but I want to keep MINE. hehe. ( we have been through so much together...) Also, I only paid $1500US for it, and don't want to have to end up paying that and more for something I already had.

 

Anyone had any experience with this?

a TD pathy/terrano will not be allowed in the US. that's why we are jealous of our canadian buddies who have them. they were not an option in the states, and as far as i know, can't be registered here as diesels.... :(:(

 

*however! you could ship it over and sell it to our northern buddies up there, then buy a WD21 down here sly

getting the vehicle shipped isn't a problem. And it isn't the army, it's the Air Force. :P

 

I guess I am just wondering why there aren't very many pathys with TD27T engines in them over there. They are great. I am hoping that they aren't restricted or something like that. I reaaaally want my TD27T over there in the states eventually.
