Need quick brake light help!

Well I was trying to wire up my trailer harness using the trial and error method, and now my brake lights don't work. The haynes manual shows the circuit going to a fuse in the fuse box, but I can't find it! There is nothing in there that corresponds to the brake lights (note: there is a "tail" labeled fuse, this corresponds to the regular taillights and interior lights, as I shorted those out as well). So where is this brake light fuse? I really need to know soon! -Chris

it SHOULD be the same fuse as its the same bulb (dual filiment).

Unfortunately it's not. I shorted out the taillights the other day, but the brake lights still worked. Now, the brake lights aren't working but the taillights are

Mine has got nothing written on them nothing written on the lid or in the book had to just keep pulling them out and checking till i found it if some one had a picture of what goes where it would be great :gossip:

On my 89 they're marked "Stop Lamp" and "Clearance/Illumination".

Did you check the box behind the rear left cargo panel?
