Guest Peter
This Pathfinder had the front end smashed due to the driver being a little bit buzzed, and hence, neither the radiator, glass, or hood is really in any shape. One wheel may be smashed, but I believe there are 4 stock alloys that are good. I don't have it in front of me, but it's getting towed down soon. If there are any misc parts anyone needs, there are a bunch of good parts. The motor has right around 200k, IIRC - I will have to confirm that. It ran very strong right before the crash, and had just gotten a new cap/rotor/wires/o2 sensor as well as some battery cables. If anyone needs any parts, feel free to ask, and I'll doublecheck if it's in good shape or not. The transmission is great, the motor's great, even with the milage, the whole drivetrain is completely intact. This vehicle was never taken offroad, and hasn't been abused. It had all seasons on it when crashed. Axles, driveshafts, motor, tranny, a bunch of misc lights interior, whatever anybody wants, let me know. Email: peter@easytree.net please, I don't normally come to this forum, and I don't know if I get emailed when someone responds to the thread or sends me a PM. I typically sit over on sr20forum.com and have the same username 'Peter' where I've just been parting out a red '92 SE-R, which are the rides I usually drive - sorry! Anyway, if anyone's looking for parts at a reasonable price, let me know. Thanks much, glad to see you guys have a forum, too. Peace, all, Peter

88pathoffroad
I'll take the o2 sensor if someone can carefully remove it and keep it from being damaged before delivery. I'd prefer to keep the whole wiring harness for it, but if it needs to be cut off, try and keep the wires long just for ease of resplicing. Got an idea on a price? What color is it? What color interior? Is it an SE or an XE? Auto or manual transmission? Does it have a tire carrier in the back? What size and brand tires doe sit have? Where do you live? and most of all... Mr. Pickles
Yeah, rear "lift supports" for the rear hatch (not the small ones for the actual glass). You've opened a serious can here. In swoop the vultures.
88pathoffroad
Tailgate/hatch lift supports are about $30 each brand new...the glass ones are more like $20 each. Who needs what? I can probably get good items locally from the junkyard.
Mr. Pickles
88, if you can get them local, cheap, I'm down. They want something close to $100 local at Shucks for them here. A freakin joke, but nobody seems to have Pahty's to pick from. Let me know!!!
88pathoffroad
I'll look for some for you, then.
Mr. Pickles
Right on. I stopped into yet another local junkyard today. They gave me the same blank stare when I asked if they had any Pathy's (or Hardbody's). Something akin to if I asked them for a NASA rocket booster or something. Silly RedNecks. Little Mule
I'd second a request for some rear glass lift supports. They are mounted to the lift gate with a bracket. You can't remove the support from the bracket without cutting it off. I can't find any at the local Checker/Autozone that has the bracket with it. I went to the dealer, and they wanted $123 each! :furious: There is a Nissan/Toyota junkyard here, but I they don't have any. But let me know how much you want if you find some. Thanks. 88pathoffroad
'K, let me go look. The new one had the glass pneumatics removed already. Bastards. 'Course, that's where I got my spare parts steering setup, no thread dings or big scratches/dents. Miracles never cease...
Little Mule
Thanks 88, but I got ambitious and fixed my glass lifters last night. I found some that fit at a local parts store, but they didn't have the bracket that attaches to the truck. So I took off the stock lifters, cut the pin that held them to the brackets, and was able to reuse the brackets by attaching the new lifters to them. It worked great, and the new lifters were only $22 each. Got any of those JGC springs though?

Mr. Pickles
Dude, you oooze. Little Mule, do you know the brand/size/part #? I imagine they'd be the same fit as the 90+ Pathy's and I'm in need. Tired of smacking my head, but the local shops want like $40+ each!

Little Mule
Hey Pickles, They are called Mighty Lift. The number above the UPC code is D95225. They are by Arvin Meritor. Website: http://www.arvinmeritor.com/products/mcs/a...ket/default.asp I got them at Autozone in AZ. Here they are on the internet. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker/?...LASS&PageSync=5 I was a little off on the price. I guess I paid $27 each. Sorry, I'm getting old and the memory is going bad. I don't think they are the greatest, but they do hold my glass up. Hope that helps.
Little Mule
Here's an update for you Pickles. I've had the new supports in for a week. They are working ok, but if I do go over a good bump (like rail road tracks today), the glass does squeak and rattle some. I don't hear anything over typical bumps in the road. I haven't tried it off road yet. They do hold the glass up, but don't seem as strong as I'm used to. I wonder if they were stronger, would they stop all rattling, even over big bumps?
