GAS LINES

Hey fellas , I need help or insight of what to do here. Well I gotta 94 Pathy that had some original gas lines ( steel) and well they were kinda rusty.....bad. So last year around this time I put on rubber gas lines from the fuel tank to were it was rusted .....now this rubber fuel line has cracks in it......hum. Is there a gas line out there that last more than a year ? If so tell me.

you could replace with metal lines then cover them with wire/line protectors... they look like little sleeves that you put over the item you are covering. (like all the wiring under the hood of our pathys!) metal will rust, rubber will crack, such is life. Did you get the right type of lines? i.e: fuel lines? if they are nto fuel line hoses the gas will eventually eat them away, or is it just wear n tear?

You can get replacement metal fuel line and bend it to fit yourself. Problem is it's not generally available at most parts stores.

Check Jegs or Summit for some high end fuel line.
