Changing Oil(s) and selection

Hey everyone,

I want to change the oil(s) in my front and rear diffs, the T-Case, and the trans. My truck is a 1995 SE-V6 5spd off-road package. I would like to go with all Amsoil syn oils. I have a few quarts of Amsoil 75W90 (it is rated GL-2 through GL-5) gear oil, am I correct that 75W90 would be fine for the Trans and the front Diff? I know that I can't use it in the rear diff because it has the limited slip, so what do I put in the rear diff? Also am I correct that the T-Case needs Auto trans fluid? If it does neeed ATF, I will also go Amsoil. Also what is the capacity of the trans, diffs and the t case? The owners man does not say.

And lastly does anyone have any feedback on Amsoil products? I know that they are more expensive, but if they are good it is worth it!

Thank you,

Zack

I used Amsoil Long Life lube in the front and rear diffs and didn't add any additive. So far, I have no chatter.

Amsoil Long Life for Diffs

For the transfer case I used the Amsoil Synthetic Universal Automatic Transmission Fluid.

Amsoil Synthetic ATF for Transfer case

I didn't use Amsoil for the trans. I used Redline GL-4 Only.

Here is the Amsoil Trans lube.

Amsoil Synthetic Manual Trans Oil

And the Redline MT-90

I don't remember the capacities for the diffs or transfer case but I do remember the trans take like 5 - 5.5 quarts.

Also, amsoils site gives approx. vales for the capacities.

Redline MT-90 GL-4 Transmission Oil
