Has anyone ever dealt with this company : www.autorust.com ? They are in RI. Next week I might drive up there and get an est. Thye claim they have done a lot of Pathfinders, all with rust in the same area that I am dealing with.

the rust under the seat is a PITA. but you have almost nothing. My seat belts were just hanging in the air and I just pushed the back of the seat a bit and it ripped right out. NOT FUN TO FIX!!!! also check the floor boards too. mine looked fine under neath the truck cause it was under coated, and with the carpet off it looked fine b/c of the sound deadener. once I riped the SD out, DAMN BIG HOLES!!!!

you can fix it if you have a welder, and time. LOTS of time

Well I am not going to be doing the repairs myself, I will be having them done at a shop. I figure that I will be spending about 1500-2000 grand on the repairs? Does that sound about right?

Thanks,

Zack

I completely redid my 88 after I got it, it was very bad. Someone had tried to fix the area under the rear seats before by just fiberglassing over it all  .

My cost was around $200 if you count the bedliner I put over the entire floor.

I would say that is an OK price for someone to do it for you with all the repairs you need. Of course for that price I would also expect the repairs to be almost invisible.
