manifold studs

I love pathfinders but SOB I would like to have bought just one

without exuast stud problems , this is my 5th pathfinder, I currenty have

two I use to pull my utility trailor for my mobile detail business

Anyway I did find that if you have a leak DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TIGHTEN

THEM , if you try to loosen them chances are they will come out and then

they can easiy be changed , worked for me anyway . Hope this helps any

new owners.

Have you ever put headers on any of your Pathy's? If so/not did the studs come out rather easily & would it be wise to get them hot and then cool down and try to loosen them? I know when things heat up, they expand and cool down they contract. I'm hoping to get my headers done this Spring once it warms up. Thanks for the info.

No never on the pathys, but on the studs i removed the engine

was cold just like when changing spark plugs and came right out .

Yea i dont know what it is just cant seem to get away from them ,
