Gas Milage

Hi All

 

I have only had my Pathy 1 month and 1500 miles and the milage sux!! I didn't expect an econo car but 14 mpg. Please tell me it will get better. O well its fun anyway :cool2:

It's not uncommon for brand new cars to have horrible gas mileage as the engine breaks in. I wouldn't worry about it, at least not until you've gotten to the 2nd oil change.

 

My brother-in-laws Titan was getting BRUTAL gas mileage for the first 10,000Kms.....but it's settled in much better since.

 

Remember as well, it's not a race car.....go easy on the throttle, and you'll be alright.

Very true. They didn't tell you that at the dealership? It'll improve slightly as the engine fully breaks in and gets all nice and smoothed out. I wouldn't expect to break 20, though.

actually to tell ya the truth i get about 20 everywhere i go...i'm constantly driving mine, ever since i got it the average i would say is about 20 city and about 22 highway...on average...on the get up and go days its still like 17 city 20-22 highway...i love mine...up to 13k on it now and no probs yet...

4000 mi & 14-15 city (what I mostly drive) and 17-19 hwy, on a good day. Drive into a 25-30mph wind on the expressway going 80-85, expect 12. I'm an aggressive drive so hopefully your results will be better.

I've been getting about 19 running around town. If I treat it real easy, I get 22 between home and work. I don't treat it well very often. Just can't help but goose the ZV7. It just wants to GO !!!!!!!!!
