Guest bizz
I have an '02 Pathfinder SE, 4WD. The 4WD will not disengage from 4WD back to 2WD with my turning the ignition off and back on. Any ideas to correct this problem?
Pezzy
mm... I dont understand.... I assume youre putting the shifter/switch back into 2WD??
Guest bizz
Believe it or not, moving the shift lever from 4WD to 2WD is the first thing I tried. I even tried doing it correctly. When I return the shift lever from 4WD mode to 2WD mode, it remains in 4WD mode. It will not transfer back to 2WD until I turn the ignition off and on. nissandoms47
i think you might just have to drive for 10 20 feet forwards or reverse to disengage it. at least thats what i have to do sometimes on my R50
MATTY
i might be pointing you in the wrong direction but here it goes anyway when the lever says its in 2wd or 4wd thats what its in the indicator light stays on for a little sometimes goto some dirt and try to do a burnout when its in 2wd that will tell you mine stays on for 20-30 m if it doesent turn off but its all good Edited January 16, 2006 by MATTY
