kremmen
Hey Guys, I was wondering can you fit r16's on a 91 pathy. I can get my hands on some Navara 4 spoke alloys 265/70 r16. Will these be too big for my rig
statikuz
no, i don't imagine it would be a problem if they're the same bolt pattern. but since the wheels are now 16", you'll need to replace all your tires because your old ones (probably on your 15" stock rims) won't fit anymore. vengeful
If the 265/70/R16 you're referring to is the tires on the rims...then yes, they ought to fit. That tire size is rougly a 32" tire, hoewver.
kremmen
hrrrmm 32" I don't know if they will fit under terry. terry
statikuz
actually, a 265/70 is 30.7" in diameter, the same as a 31x10.50. so you're getting the tires and rims together?
kremmen
Yeah. My tyres are just about shot anyway.
statikuz
then you should be fine i imagine, there's no problems with fitting 31s" under a stock pathy, and since you have that lift, there really shouldn't be any fitment issues.
kremmen
Maybe the offset may be a problem? WTF is an offset anyways  Looks like the rim face is a bit to close to the outer edge to fit terry.

Simon
I don't think those will fit. It has nothing to do with the 16" rim size, or bolt pattern. The concern is the front calipers on our rigs is a little intrusive when using a rim that has too much backspacing. Those look pretty well flat, and I think you'd be rubbing, ALOT, on the caliper. geordie4x4
The only way to tell is stick one on the front and see. Turn it round and from full lock to lock with the car facing down a slope to put a bit of load on it. I have Navara offset 15/7" ROH Monsoon mags with 31"/10.5 R 15 rims on my Terrano. They fit fine but the 15" Navara offset may be for the older Navara. Those newer ones may well have a slightly different clearance with the caliper. Good luck. kremmen
Are there any benefits to runnin a larger rim size? Aprt from larger wheel diameter. Edited January 14, 2006 by kremmen
