Git-R-Done Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 hello there. i got a 1988 pathfinder 3.0L auto. and i was looking on the internet and i found a "VG30DETT", i guess it is the OHC and a twin turbo. i was wonderin if that would ba a good swap? or what would be a good engine swap for my pathy? i was also thinkin a chevy 350? but im not sure there is to many good choices. :confused: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GrimGreg Posted January 9, 2006 Share Posted January 9, 2006 Hope you got a good shoe horn for either of those you mentioned. The TT might fit with a 3" BL and some rearrangement of the plumbing for intake and exhaust...along with some reformation of the inner fenders. It has dual cam heads (as apposed to our single cam heads) so they are a little wider, especially with the twin turbo equipment. For a 350 you would need to either relocate the radiator forward, or rebuild the firewall. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If your gearbox is the jatco Re4ro1a then you can use the bellhousing off the new motor and it should mate straight onto your auto box. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
