87pathy
i broke my timing belt once... bent 6 of 12 valves. I put them on grinding machine to see if they were bent. 5 of them you could see by eye but the 6th one you couldn't see until i spun it on a valve grinding machine. 3 intake 3 exaust. doing all the work myself cost 400 bucks. but in the process i reground all my valve seats and match ground the valves.. ran like a new car after.. still does at 240k.. wel it did when i parked it 2 years ago for the sas that still isn't finished... but i should be done around xmas.. Casey.T
OMG I play with #s all day long and forgot the $200 per sided, that would make the math $960 for a Valve job with JWT Cams. And I still get to do all the labor vs $850 + tax on the 95, 78k motor. If $$$$ were not an issue I would just get a core and build one. Found a hoist I can use for more than a day. I will get her prepped for a transplant this weekend and get the existing motor out and on a stand. Worste case is it will be much easier to work on that way.
